McDermott's gut is grotesque and he was fairly slim in HS. He's also by far our best lineman and effortlessly shut down Josh Sweat for 4 quarters.

So idk how much belly fat really matters. You can have a genetic predisposition to belly fat and still have relatively low BF% and great conditioning. Give me results over aesthetics.

They may not look like super models but I don't think you can say conditioning is a problem. ESPN announcers were counting down to the 75th play waiting on our D to bend and on the contrary they stepped up

90+ plays on Saturday and we didn't look tired like the douche bags at ESPN thought we would. Conditioning is not the issue.

Here's the thing.

I don't think Richt is an AWFUL offensive coordinator. He's not James Coley or Patrick Nix bad. He's simply below average. And many on here have conflated the stellar job he's done as CEO and head coach with the mediocre things he's done as OC. They are not one in the same.

As long as Richt is the OC, our offense will continue to be somewhat limited. Even if he's not going to give up play calling, he'd be well served to bring in an experienced offensive mind as the 10th coach to help with game planning.

Nobody’s saying he’s an offensive genius.

But to say he’s below average, when the stats and results clearly show otherwise, is to just throw out lazy and uninformed opinions to make yourself sound good. In reality, it makes him sound like a braying jackass.

Rick isn’t perfect, and there are specific things that can be questioned and criticized. But this is what smart posters do. They’ll point an an area of specific perceived weakness, for example, not incorporating motion. I don’t see it myself as a big issue, but I get the concern. Rather than just throwing out some half-wit hot take to try to sound cool.

We've left literally hundreds of points on the field through six games thanks to poor offensive execution. At the end of the day, that falls on the offensive coordinator.

If we had punched in a majority of our scoring chances in the red zone, we'd be a Top 10 offense, not a Top 25.
