Be quiet and go back to work. When y’all gonna realize that it’s not the danm coach. Kids don’t want to live in Miami. UM is a very very hard sell for any coach. Y’all keep thinking it’s only on the coaches. Coker struggled. Shannon struggled. Golden struggled. Richt struggled. Diaz and Cristobal. At some point you have to look at why instead of WHO!! As a kid, you see the on field production of Miami compared to other programs. Then you see the college life atmosphere and facilities compared to others. And lastly, you see the talent you get to play with compared to others. Miami just doesn’t have it. If social media was around in the glory days as it is today, no way Miami has a chance. It's so utterly absurd that Miami is the only school in the country that zeroes in on former Alumni/Coaches from the Glory Days when it's failed time and time again. Especially a dude that went too High School with several prominent boosters.
We need to start focusing on the best X's and O's coaches in the country and stop trying to be Georgia when we clearly can't bankroll it. Mario without Ruiz is Manny Diaz level recruiting, just have to face the facts that high level kids don't care about Relationships as much and getting 4am Text Messages from the "Hardest Worker in the Building" and the "Most Tireless Recruiter". Money talks and Money Walks
We need to hire from the Briles/Dykes Trees especially the ones from the South. **** I'd rather kick the can with Lashlee if he develops well in the next season or 2. At least our offense would be outscheming people for once
So unless we getting Kirby Smart, Pete Carroll, Nick Saban, Lincoln Riley, or Ryan Day as our head coach, it doesn’t matter who comes in…they’ll face the same challenges as Cristobal.
