Stop ******* around. We all know Lane is the guy.

I don't know what UM has against Lane. He loves the fishing down here and would come. I watched firsthand him and his strength coach Wilson Love come from Alabama and transform FAU. He brought in a totally new S&C program. Then all of a sudden FAU breaks out a tough stretch that lasted years. Now he took Wilson Love with him to Ole Miss and they're in the top 10. You got to get a successful S&C coach.

Then no real AD is gonna take this job and UM is continuing the bleep show. Hire someone competent and established and give them free run to do the job they were hired to. Get out of the way. The people at Miami have proven they don't know what they're doing or have been too ***** to assert themselves in a real way. Get someone who knows what they're doing and let them work.
They probably will. The point is that Cristobal is an obvious choice for this job. I would think most AD’s would jump at the opportunity to bring on a guy that’s done what he has at Oregon.

That’s one of the coaches they reached out to according to flo.
Oh really….

The obvious choice for the job at both LSU and Texas was Tom Herman. How did that work out? Nebraska and Scott Frost. Going swimmingly I think. Mario is an obvious choice for anyone who refuses to analyze the circumstances of Oregon's ascent. They've basically been playing in a group of 5 conference the last 3-4 years. The Pac-12 does not care about football. We'll see if USC gets their act together. And he needed Washington to come down with covid for him to play in the title game last year. People want to give him all this credit for a season where he went 4-3 and beat zombie Clay Helton in the title game. Ok.

You're not just gonna port whatever works at Oregon to Miami.

How is that possible when there isn't even a new AD? What if lets say Tom Jurich gets hired and thinks Lane Kiffin or Aranda or someone else is the better option? The Mario faction is gonna tell an established a AD what to do? Whats the point in hiring him then?
Whoever is going to be our AD has already been schooled on who to hire. Our new AD and new coach is already a done deal.

So 2019 was a mirage? 12 wins, Pac-12 and a Rose Bowl win? He will be playing for another Pac-12 title in 3 weeks.

What did I just say about the conference? It is trash. From the talent, to the coaches to the commitment. He has every and I mean every advantage in the world and yet his style of play minimizes his talent advantage. I don't want a coach who gets less of out of his players.
