I understand the recruiting part,, but you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. Let me put it another way.

If we can't get the coach we really want by the end of the year, should we just hire another coach equal to or less than Diaz and be back in the same sinking ship 3 years later?

We've been down this road before.

I honestly never thought for one second he’d win out. This is who he is, every game is a toss up no matter who we play. So I still think he’ll lose next week and that’ll be it. 6 losses and we all know he can’t win a bowl game with time off. So they’ll do it then.

And what head coach that is currently available are you hiring? Other than Herman everybody is coaching. Has USC or LSU hired their next coach.

Yes w3 should cause we may hit on that person ..We KNOW manny is ****. And this only gets worse with the transfers and current recruiting class.

Listen to what you just said. We've done this for over a decade. Really tired of people just wanting change so they can build up some false hope.

Get the right person in here even if it takes a little while longer to do it.
 
Manny the excuse machine has got this. Players too amped, it’s a rivalry game so throw records out the window, injury bug, limping to the finish line but playing with heart, unanticipated wind conditions,Haitian voodoo, blah blah …

They should have fired him after the game and gave him a plane ticket. he doesnt need to be around the team anymore. Blake should be fired at the same time

It's 30 days before NLI day (December 15-17, 2021), probably not a good time to fire a head coach unless they hit a major home run on the hire. UM cannot afford to lose the public commitments or silent commitments at this point. Now if they sign a superstar coach (unlikely) in time to retain current recruits and some surprises, then the portal will play a huge part in UM's 2022 and 2023 teams. If they are going to fire Diaz, it should be done immediately after the VaTech game, win or lose. If not, he will be back in 2022.
 
If he was going to be fired would have happened after the Virgina lost. My guess is he will hire a DC next year and that will save him for another half a season next year after he hires shoop to be DC and runs the same exact defense.
 
I don’t understand peoples obsession with the order in which Manny and Blake are fired.


JUST ******* FIRE THEM!!!!!!!

I don’t understand why this is so hard to grasp.
This reminds me when we were under investigation for 3 years while our recruiting classes were getting decimated. Our program is in limbo cause the department and school are either stupid or think they’re smarter than than the departments at schools where departments actually know what they’re doing.
Only this program would do it totally different *** backwards. Acting like sht is gonna change dramatically cause of some behind the scenes top secret NSA deals are going on. The only certainty is that they’re gonna Fck it up like a Diaz 4th down.
