IF by the grace of God we're up a decent margin on Vag Tech then I say you absolutely run a Wildcat or gadget type play and let Tathan air it out as a passer.

Aside from hopefully embarrassing Vag Tech this also opens up more options down the line if we actually do need to utilize it again. You won't have teams cheating knowing that it's just going to be a running play when they see Tathan on the field or at most he's going to run a pass route as a receiver.

UF & Bethune stuffed 2 Wildcat runs for no gain or losses, we already saw "what He can do with the ball in His hand and a little open field", nothing.

He couldn't turn the corner vs Bethune, what makes you think He's gonna turn the corner vs FSU?

He made plays against Rutgers, but can’t make them for Miami. The oline is a factor, but not the whole story.

JT, Pope, Wiggins, Hightower etc. Guys are not making plays. The spin move JT did against UFag was otherworldly and shows he is still that dude.

There is a funk hanging over Miami. A weird malaise that dampens talent when it puts on a U helmet. It happens when there is a lack of momentum. Everything is slow and jerky jerky. Guys are always getting tripped up by their shoe laces.

It’s an emotional thing caused by youth and poor planning / playcalling. I think the slow pace contributes to this too.

Hopefully Enos can get these guys rolling in practice so we can appreciate their natural talent on the way to some wins.

This includes Tate. I wish we would speed up the pace to get 80-85 plays a game. That way all the young dogs can eat.

I'd actually much prefer Pope, JT4, KJ or even Jeremiah to get their number called on those same plays. Let Tate be what he is, a backup QB.

I would t be surprised to see this no matter what the score is. You KNOW Va Tech will regroup for this game and Bud Foster will be throwing all kinds of stuff at Jarren. I think we’ll have some new “stuff” of our own just to keep them off balance.

i dont think our OL could handle a sped up pace with how undisciplined we are all over the place.

We are not seeing it for a lot of our guys, even JT4 who we have seen do it.

Tate ran better against Rutgers than BCU. That combined with the other athletes not breaking out tells me something.

Wiggins is big and has WHEELS. He still hasn’t made many plays.

Yeah, going hurry up with the under center playaction and slow developing runs is a very bad idea.

I want to see it done from a shotgun rpo, screen, and short route base. Would also like to see a bit less pulling lineman and see if we can get some creases spreading the defense and running at the harde straight up.

I wish we still had Richt’s inside and outside zone plays. They were good plays, he just ran them too predictably. With Enos being so willing to pass on first down, they would work well for us this season.

would like to see some red zone package for him where he can play qb. There can be a variety of plays/options for him. I would prefer he not be used as wide out (unless as decoy). We should have enough skill guys that would make him kind of obsolete.

Does not make any sense . When you have a guy like this you have to put him on the field. (I was hard on him as a QB in beginning of the season) . I prefer Tate in the wildcat more so than Mr. Dallas although #13 has a pretty decent success rate for making a big play out of this formation. I still would have Tate back there as well because he can do so many things out of this formation . Mix Up a little bit as long it's in the flow of the game .

I would display a set that consists of...

1. Wild Cat formation .... RPO Style.
2. Wing T /Wishbone -Pass Option - With Cam, Dj in the back , Flex a TE-Mallory Out He can Crashed Block or Single Coverage Fade if it's MAN 2 MAN. (Short Yardage situations/ Goal Line) Str8 Butter!!!
3. Triple Option
4. A-11 Package - Since our Oline can't black why not go all out and spread these suckers out! Be innovative and it may cause nightmares for other teams! We have speedsters.
5.) I would have an option where we would have JW and Tate in the game at onetime. Break the huddle and Split JW out as a decoy and have Tate at Qb for a Spread base attack. ( Pittsburgh Steelers did this with Randle El back in the day and it caused havoc on some defense to adjust in the game )

Goodness -just thinking about it irks me, So many packages that Coach Enos can display.
