I never got to see Schnelly or Jimmy coached teams. I stated watching near Ericksons end. Early Butch years were tough but you could see the promise going forward. You guys know the rest of the story.

The AL Golden era made watching the CANES unbearable. I don't know how or why I continued to watch. No clue how that was possible while the defense was getting bled to death every game.

Enter Mark Richt. There was a lot of hope, but many questionable hires.

Its year two and we are no better then the previous year.

Offense:

- 2 completely different QBs and the same results.
- horrible play calling
- charmin OL play
- TOP

Defense:

- tackling
- 3rd Down D
- too much soft zone
- cant cover TE, or slants
- cant get out base d (stubbornness)

ST:

HA nothing needs to be said

This should of been an 8 loss team but we got extremely lucky.

Im sick and ******* tired of seeing a poorly coached team. Im sick and ******* tired of seeing this university make mediocre hires. Im sick and ******* tired of wasting my money on this team. Im sick and ******* tired of getting all bent out of shape/ having a heart attack every Saturday. This team is a joke.

Ill start taking this team/ school seriously when they take themselves seriously and make proper hires.

Im not leaving the board u prick lol. Just not wasting my energy on the canes until we make legit hires. If Mark Richt is the OC and Diaz is DC next year... we aint winning ****

Howard had our greatest qb ever and won nothing with him. JJ had greatest team ever and loss his first three bowl games, including two for NC. Mark clearly is not Saban but players matter. I love Shaq, but if he doesn’t drop that pick six, this game end different. things need to come together but Miami has always been about the players with adequate coaching. This staff needs to improve and big time players need to make big time plays in big time games. Mark has stabilized us and we are in the national picture again. Good stuff but we need more. Good class coming in and a couple qbs to compete with Rosierfor next year. Mark needs to deliver ACC title and make playoffs or be on the hot seat — my opinion. That said, I have no idea who to replace him with.

As a Canes fan for 0ver 40 years, and also a person who lived in Georgia for 20 years, where UGA Football is King, I have been telling you guys, and many have ridiculed me about my MR feedback over the past 2 years. The reality is that UGA got rid of MR due to his lack of winning consistency. Year in and year out UGA had top 5 Recruiting classes, and year in and year out MR managed to lose 2-3 games per year. Question- What has happened at the U for the past 2 years? 4 and 3 loses. What will happen at the U next year? You guessed it, 2-3 loses my fellow Canes fans. Everything we have seen wrong with Canes football over the past 2 years fall on MR, and is almost a re-write of his UGA Football tenure, period
