Stephen A. becomes a bigger assclown each day that goes by. If we're going to ignore wins and losses, then we may as well go back to the old polling system. There's no room for a two-loss team in a four-team playoff when you still have 0 and 1 loss teams in the mix. Don't like it? Expand the playoffs to at least 8 teams.

do on-field results matter or don't they? Bama only played two teams worth a darn and lost to them both. If you put them at #4 just because you "think" they are better, then there's no reason to play any of the games at all, and we're back to the beauty pageant days of college football.

Unfortunately, that's not reality. "Winning your conference" comes with an asterisk, depending on what conference you are in. No team from the AAC, and I don't care if they go undefeated eight consecutive seasons, should EVER get into the final 4 unless changes are made to the conference make-up.

They need to fix it cause then opinion and bias rule. If they do it they lose money cause no one talks about it or they will talk less no cfb playoff bs tv shows

Theis schedule was a joke, and their defense isn’t very good.

they def don’t deserve in. Saying they’d beat Baylor or Utah means nothing.
1990 Miami was the best team in the country, and pounced Texas, but they didn’t deserve in with 2 losses.

It's still moronic. Now 99% of teams know for a fact they won't be in no matter what they do. I'm tired of this nonsense where sec losses are somehow wins. Bama lost twice, that's it. Done.

10 sec teams are the best.
20 Therefore any conference loss was to the best and isn't much of a negative.
30 Therefore the top 2 teams from the sec go to the playoff.
40 Two teams from the sec are always in the playoff, therefore the sec is the best.
50 Goto 10
 
This isn't some troll posting this. I have a deep respect for Stephen A Smith. The man speaks the truth and doesn't throw **** against the wall.
 
**** if we had 3 losses won the coastal and knocked off Clemson...Clemson should not go to the playoffs cause we just replaced them with that win. That's how it should be.

Alot of the time he keeps it real I agree 100 but this right here he's wrong about. It's not about who's the best it's who deserves it

Honestly, all I care is to see as many teams make the playoff as possible that have a chance to beat Clemson. I can't take it with those literal ***-clowns anymore. I used to think I hated Bama. Now I root for them.
