Stephen A. On CFP

There's a **** ton of hypocrisy going on in this thread.

Let's say the University of Miami DIDN'T have the THE worst administration in the country and hires THE ****TIEST HEAD COACHES in the country and that the program was running as it should and we were a perennial top 5 team (like we should be).

Then, let's suppose Miami DIDN'T play in the worst conference in the country and actually played a tough schedule. If we, as Miami fans, endured two close losses to two good teams mostly because we were missing our star, ready to be first round drafted quarterback.....we'd all be losing our God **** minds.

Strength of schedule should ABSOLUTELY be rewarded. It stops teams like UCF and Boise St back in the day who benefit from not having to handle the rigors of weekly tough competition from back dooring the easy way into the playoffs. Anyone can beat anyone on ONE WEEK. Boise did beat Oklahoma in a bowl back then....but the question is could Boise have beaten that same Oklahoma team, that same year, after having to go through a gauntlet of at least 3 or 4 other tough games? The answer is absolutely ******* **** no.

Say what you want, and God knows Stephen A is wrong a ton....but it doesn't mean he's not right here. You want the best teams in the playoffs, not the best records.

Stupid, as usual. If you are going to go by "best team", then just have the playoffs in early September. Most people realize by now that if you want to be called the best team, you have to win your games.

Funniest thing is when the reporters ridicule people for saying bama drops bags
Like facts are facts I get it.....and Bama is elite i get that. But what happened to playing your schedule and getting in with a conference title? No one in the NFL complains about having a tough schedule or weak schedule. It is what it is it's no one fault they are in the SEC but there own. How can anyone let them in with even one loss not even appearing in there own divisions title game? So basically they can take off a game a year just to not play in it and still make the playoffs?

Such bs man that angers TF out of me that cfb fans under value those games. If you want to make **** fair let in conference winners only, and make sure u tell Saban and the little puzzies before the season that those are the qualifications to getting into the playoffs...so no one has to cry for them.

One thing has gone right with this college football season! One thing!

Nick Saban’s team has been eliminated from contention.

And this joker wants to ruin the one thing that has gone right all season??? Please.

But not all power 5 conference are created equal.

No they’re not and we’ll see a good example of that this year. They might have to decide between a 1 loss PAC 12 champ and a 1 loss Big 12 champ with similar resumes. But a 2 loss Alabama with 0 top 25 wins that didn’t play for their conference championship shouldn’t be in the conversation with those teams.

Saying Alabama deserves to get into the playoffs with two losses is a **** joke. I'm rooting for Utah to get into the playoffs. Tyler Huntley and Zack Morris are both from Miami. To augment my argument against Bama, Alabama hasn't beaten any ranked teams on the season. Both of the teams that they lost to were both ranked so how the **** they do they deserve to get into the playoffs? This just isn't their year. That's okay when you've had the level of success they've had.

I know that this is just meant to cause hot takes or whatever, but anyone who agrees with this is essentially saying "the regular season doesn't matter, just put Bama, Clemson, Ohio State and the 2nd best SEC team in every year."

And at that point, there should just be a permanent "Premier League" of the Top 16 teams that all play each other every season.

Carry on.

always fun to see people invoking the "anyone that posts or says anything I don't like or agree with is an idiot" doctrine.

and those same people will not agree with or like the fact that when Bama is in the final four, there are higher revenues.

whether people like Bama or not is not the main issue -- money is.

If you can finish 3rd in your division and make the CFP, something is probably not right. I find it hard to believe that three of the four best and/or most deserving teams play in the same division. Talk about sucking SEC ****.
