This is not to support Diaz, but just a reminder, **** games happen. We didn't expect to win this game, and many expected to get dominated. Obviously, that's not where we want to be, but it's what we all knew. With that said, Look at Clemson mashing Bama a few years back. Bama was expected to give a challenge in that championship game and got smoked. Let's get a few games in and see what happens this season. We all came into the season expecting no more than 2 losses, hopefully 1. We may still achieve that.

Jesus Christ man. Give it up, relating this to bama, Ohio state, and or Clemson. All three of them show up in big games. All 3 have won natty’s.

Miami has gotten blown out in big games since Diaz has taken over. This isn’t a one off thing for Christ’s sake. Y’all are doing mental ******* gymnastics to make this loss some moral victory. It’s not. It’s a trend.

beat app state and let’s run the table. But let’s not act like this isn’t the norm under Diaz: not prepared, unmotivated to start games, and undisciplined play

This is literally what I'm trying to say. None of us expected us to be at that level yet. All I'm saying is let's see how the season plays out when Bama is not on the other side. We all knew bama was basically a throw-away game and a measuring stick for where we are. Now we know, we're still not there, but even good teams get stomped sometimes.

Miami had been getting blown out in big games before diaz

Agreed. But that’s a moot point. A counter to that is though, Miami has been getting blown it in big games for a while now, but has Miami ever lost to two teams like FIU and La tech prior to Diaz? Don’t think they have. Rooting for the guy because he’s our last hope to get back to a respectful level but the dudes resume as a HC in 3 years is as bad as it gets for Miami football

getting "blown out" or not is not even close to the main issue of Miami's problems for the last almost 20 years.

if you lost by 1 point or you lose by 50, a loss is still a loss.

losses hurt recruiting and they sure as **** do not win championships. win by 1 point or lose by 1 point... the only thing that
counts are Ws and Ls . Poor coaching and play do not get you Ws and championships. that's not rocket surgery !

anyone who thinks how many points you lose by is really important is like someone who is upset that the menu for supper on
the night the Titanic sank was not any good.

who gives a rat's *** that the mashed potatoes were cold and lumpy and the meat was overdone and tasted like crap that night .....
the ******* SHIP SANK !!!

And we won every game we were supposed to last year. People keep bringing up FIU and La Tech but that didn't happen last year. We played very well against inferior opponents. Diaz may not be the answer but there's a difference between equating getting blown out by Bama to "OMG we lost to Bama, it's all the same because we also lost to FIU and La Tech two years ago" and another person saying getting beat by FIU and losing to Bama aren't comparable.

losing to FIU and La Tech and getting "blown out" by Bama and North Carolina are symptoms of the same disease. most people don't get that.

We weren’t supposed to beat Oklahoma state? LOL we went down by 21 to start the game.

We weren’t supposed to beat UNC even though we were favored? Lost 62-26 giving up 800 yards of offense

once again stop the **** mental gymnastics. Every orange and green argument y’all make There is a counter argument that is even bleaker than the moral victories

I mean I wasn’t saying that trying to defend diaz because I never wanted him as even DC let alone hc
