More of a guilty pleasure thread but I have seen the Steelers love for Canes players in recent years and, as evidence from games vs Jville and Forutnette last year need extra bodies on the line. They love tenacious big bodies on the DL and our current starting DT, Hargreaves is MUCH better against the pass than the rush. McIntoshs motor, similar to Cam heyward, or Norton’s size and technique, similar to Casey Hampton of years past would be great in Pittsburgh. They have a few mid round pics so these two will be there. Love to here what y’all think.

Being a Cowboys fan and I'm a little hurt about losing my lunch money in '79. I have to agree with you. MC Tomlinson likes his Canes. Enjoy the guilty pleasure.

As a fellow Steez fan, I concur that Mikey T's affinity for Canes is absolutely refreshing. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if he offers Chick a path to coaching after his career is over too as he apparently loves him. I remember for years it seemed like the only Cane we had was Big Leon Searcy- which is a great one to have but he seemed to be it.

As for drafting Canes for the d-line, it's certainly possible but they seem strangely enthralled with Daniel McCullers. He really hasn't done anything at all in 3 years but they just gave him another contract. Their obsession in that dude as a developmental project (along with needs at LB and DB) might limit their interest in drafting Norton or McIntosh but we shall see.

I love it too. Except that he loves Buckeyes too, arg. But yeah McCullers thing is strange but at least it’s a non guaranteed. So they can leave options open for bringing in better talent. The Steelers way lol.

Yeah, Big Dan is terrible. But I think the contract is only a 1 year deal, so probably just insurance in case the draft doesn't break the right way to get a NT. I don't think McIntosh fits the scheme, but Norton would look real nice taking Dan's spot at NT. I'm also hoping the Steelers draft Herndon and snag Toolbox, as well.

I think they could move McIntosh to an end like Tuitt and slide Cam inside. Two big ends that can run plus Cam in the middle ain’t bad.

1000% on board with us snagging Herndon. Wouldn't object to Toolbox either.

My data phone? I only communicate via rotary phone, pager and smoke signals.

For whatever its worth both rj & kendrick lost alot of money by coming out this year & who ever that bum *** mehlki had them working out with. They both had horrible pro days and it's especially gonna hurt rj who atleast had enough film to make a case to go higher. Footwork looked like crap & both looked sloppy physically. Both will be fine in the long run as i think both will have good nfl careers. Just wish they'd take this time a lil more serious. Thats what mehlki does though. He sells them on a lifestyle rather than lets get out here and grind... ****es me off. Ive never been a big fan of drew or his brother but if mehlki is the alternative im gonna be #teamdrew mehlkis just a douche.

I think McIntosh signed with drew rosenhaus and Norton, Thomas, Herndon went with first round management(mali kawa). Regardless I have Not heard any buzz lately on twitter about them(Norton and rj). Starting to think they defintiely made the wrong decision to come out too especially Norton. Not seeing that boost I expected Rj to get pre draft
