None of the above are leaving their jobs to come to this dumpster fire to work for a bum. STOP.

Eh, I disagree. I mean if they can turn Miami's offense that's a **** of a thing to have on your resume. Look at Joe Brady, was just another up and coming young guy this time last year, now he's the talk of college football.

Also 1.5 mil is a lot of money.

Those stats are wrong on Lashlee.

Uconn 415 yards per game in 2017. That’s when Lashlee was there.

2018 UConn averaged 378 after Lashlee left.

Apparently you must believe we have moved into a post scarcity society where money no longer has any value.

Also, coaches tend to have more guts than fans and think they can fix problems. For example, I don't think an experienced coach like Rich Rod cares about Diaz being on thin ice. He will get another job regardless. Others want opportunities to showcase skills that they would otherwise not be able to demonstrate(Bedenbaugh as playcalling OC, Fedora returning from analyst role).

Facts aren't on your side. I know we all love the canes but let's be real here. Miami is not going to outbid any of those schools...Since when has the administration ever outbid a large power 5 school for any coach? Last Five 5 head coaches we had were: Coker, Shannon, Golden, Richt, and now this clown. Three out of five were in house coordinators that we promoted, one was a burnt out coach who was terminated at Georgia because he couldn't win big games, and Golden was a coach at a group of five school who never won a bowl game or a conference title and came here with a losing record. Enos was a failed OC at Arkansas and convinced Manny he was some quarterback whisper because he had two five star Heisman finalists. James Coley left FSU because Jimbo wouldn't allow him to call plays. Jedd Fisch was the Seahawks qb coach and Pete Carroll recommended him. Fisch had one year as a coordinator at Minnesota where he was awful. Mark Dnofrio...need I say more. I guess Manny himself was the last coordinator we hired from a power five school but even Manny was fired at Texas as a failed coordinator. You might be able to get Joe Brady....but only as a head coach once Manny's failure is complete. Perhaps Brady could be this program's Lincoln Riley.

We shall see, we paid $1.5mil for *****, I’m sure we would give a cool million to Yost, Bedenbaugh, or one of the other OC’s to come in. That’s a lot of dough especially to a FCS coordinator
