Believe A is King as well.king if I were to guess?
Kiper ranked him the #1 qb in the draft recently. Which is wild.Eighth time's the charm.
I kid, but Pickett's solid this year.
QB class is atrocious this yearKiper ranked him the #1 qb in the draft recently. Which is wild.
Probably over 3000 yards this season including bowl gameQB A:
11 games
23 TD's
9 INT's
58% completion
2652 yards
QB B:
8 games
22 TD's
6 INT's
61% completion
2550 yards
Who are the QB's?
Nothing really surprises me any more after CJ Henderson going as the number 9 pick.Kiper ranked him the #1 qb in the draft recently. Which is wild.
KD also had Portis, who rushed for 1200 yards, and an amazing OL. That offense was more balanced than Lashlee's.game is diff and our O scheme is diff now and then. either way, there's no doubt TVD is insanely more talented than Ken. no one will argue that. physical talent isn't what made KD great tho.
If TVD had that support from a run game and OL his numbers could possibly be even better. Defense could not cheat knowing we have no run threat and make it much easier for receivers to be open. TVD has much stronger arm also. We will never know because it is what it isKD also had Portis, who rushed for 1200 yards, and an amazing OL. That offense was more balanced than Lashlee's.
If TVD had Portis and the o-line that KD had--put it this way, McKinnie got Heisman votes--perhaps his passing numbers wouldn't be so off the charts since he wouldn't need to throw as much.
Maybe, maybe not. He'd have less attempts and therefore less impressive overall numbers. If TVD had that support from a run game and OL his numbers could possibly be even better. There is some dudes I think could be good after a few years. I try to stay away from rating rookie qbs too quickly after I was sure Josh Allen would be no good due to accuracy issues.QB class is atrocious this year
There's no Dre in this group. As good as Rambo has been, he's not that. Can an argument be made that the 2021 WR corp is better than the 2001 corp? (Is the 2021 WR corp is deeper?)
The difference in talent between the two teams RB & OL is where the answer to OP's riddle likely resides.
I get Henderson a little bit. Dude has a lot of tools. Pickett seems like a throwback to Kipers infatuation with Jimmy Clausen. Just one of those dudes who to me peaks in college.Nothing really surprises me any more after CJ Henderson going as the number 9 pick.
