Thats a hoot. Ian to hit west coast,, Tampa to Panhandle. No not the offense….
A State of Emergency has been declared for all counties south of Orange due to the upcoming storm (Tropical Depression No.9).
I’m no Weather Channel, but be safe you ***** and Go Canes!
Makes for poor Sightseeing..The sheer volume of rain is remarkable. Combined with the wind, it makes seeing out the windshield impossible while driving. Truly zero visibility.
nah man.Hope it goes right into tally...
What about Gainesville??.....I imagine it would atleast cleanup the Cow manure and Crystal Meth syringes off the streets.nah man.
I can't wish for people to lose homes and stuff and LOLLLL at the end of the sentence. What about Gainesville??.....I imagine it would atleast cleanup the Cow manure and Crystal Meth syringes off the streets.

I'm just 40 mins from you....Hating this BSWe were in the Bullseye here in Punta Gorda, the best place to be this far out. Besides we've had two Cat 4 (Donna and Charley) landfalls where the eye passed over us - been in the eye and saw both. Clemson and U of Houston windspeed studies claim Charley was actually a Cat 5.
So we kind of laugh at a Cat 3 or less.
The storm seems to have shifted a bit more west since the 8am advisory with the 11am advisory. It might continue to shift more west which would then definitely make it a powerful 4 as it stays out in the warm waters longer so other states may come into play.I'm just 40 mins from you....Hating this BS
Is that an old advisory because it says Tropical Depression 9?
Dude, I love Punta Gorda... when I was young used to go there from Miami to a cottage up off the Shell Creek after the dam/water plant on the freshwater side, bass were everywhere. And in the brackish all the way to the mouth of the Peace River it was snook and redfish galore... those were the days.We were in the Bullseye here in Punta Gorda, the best place to be this far out. Besides we've had two Cat 4 (Donna and Charley) landfalls where the eye passed over us - been in the eye and saw both. Clemson and U of Houston windspeed studies claim Charley was actually a Cat 5.

I remember how bad Charley fvcked you guys up... definitely looked 5-ish to me.We were in the Bullseye here in Punta Gorda, the best place to be this far out. Right there with you. Have a few investment properties in Tampa/Riverview. Fingers crossed.Definitely keeping an eye on this one. Live on the water in St. Pete, on the bay side. Some of those tracks have the storm going right up or near the mouth of the bay. That would push water into the bay and put downtown Tampa and St. Pete under water.
