Are you saying VT @ UNC might be moved to Monday, making it a short week for them pre-Canes? If so, I like where your head is at.

It's VT @ UNC and that would be wonderful. That's our next two opponents and the VT game is on a thursday

If VT vs UNC goes to Monday that would give UNC four days to prep for us. Then when we played VT it would be their third game in 11 days which is pretty brutal on the body with the amount of recovery time you need from a game. That's the best case scenario for us.
 
The way it looks the major concern should be the Carolinas or adjacent areas on Saturday - that looks like the highest probability for a direct hit

Not to be a ****.. but the only people that get hurt by hurricanes down here are the homeless and unprepared. If you pick up and store away anything that can be moved outside then you won't have an issue. Maybe a tree could fall on your house but that's about it.
 
If this makes landfall farther north like St Lucie as a category 4 and causes a ton of damage and say 20 deaths, and the State of Emergency still exists on Saturday, will the Canes and FSU cancel the game? I don't know how the politics of this will play out.

there is no way they would do that. it was scott show boating.. he really needed the ENTIRE STATE to be on state of emergency. it was overkill. he should have put them on alert and to be ready for emergency protocol if needed. if it doesn't hit Miami Gardens or immediate area the game has a 99.9% probability of being played.
 
12z euro is a nasty potentially game cancelling run. Way west. GFDL too. Let's hope these runs are outliers.

Even the westernmost ones show landfall, if there is one, significantly north of South Florida and on the southern and western side of the hurricane. A good example is what happened in Jamaica. I think as long as we don't get a direct hit we're going to be OK
