If UCF messes around & ends up having a good season its not out of the realm of possibilities we play them in Bowl game.

Then we'd just have to figure out a way to get a rematch with FIU back on the schedule by next year to make the Cypher complete.
 
So now we giving out rings and trophies for beating up on bums? Give the kicker his 1 tck and 2 field goals MVP..m

If the Big 3 played each other every year then I'd say go for it. The Commander in Chief Cup is given to the military academy that beats out the other 2 in head-to-head competition every year. They could set the "Florida Cup" up like that. But since the Big 3 are lucky to all play each other twice in a 10 year period, why bother?

Plus, there are 7 Florida FBS level schools now. You know UCF would hang banners if they weren't included as they are the whiny middle kid of the family so desperate for attention. And USF, FAU, and FIU all will **** and moan as well.

In general, I like the trophy games between schools who are rivals. I wish the War Canoe Trophy could be a thing again, but we know that SEC school in Gainesville won't ever go back to a yearly game with us. However, I think trophy games should be generated somewhat organically. This Schnellenberger Trophy rivalry with Louisville just seems so manufactured (at least from our side of things IMO). I wonder if Louisville picketed the ACC to become one of Miami's locked in rivals so Miami and Louisville could set up this trophy game? If either Miami or Louisville ends up in a different conference, does anyone see this game ever occurring again?

I like the season within the season, very soccer way of doing things.

When you’re proposing a trophy for every opponent, it kind does make the participation awards.
FSU, UF and ND are our rivals. Louisville? Nah. VT? More than Louisville, but still nah.We don’t need another little brown jug trophy - we already have one with Howard’s boots (which I thought was dumb when it was unveiled, but ok). Just play the games. There’s really only one trophy to play for.

What the heck is going on around here, first thread I read is about the crowd could impact the game and now we want to win the "state" championship, wtf has happened to men in this country?

Bro, in a time when every aspect of life is trying to tear you down, you've got to take solace in the little victories. Just the other day I received a letter of encouragement so inspiring that I framed it and hung it up in my office. Now, whatever challenge the day throws my way, I can look up with pride and no that I may already be a winner.

& yes, I want the trophy, no I don’t want no rings. Only rings we need are the ACCCG ring & maaaaaaaaybe, possibly a deep run into the playoffs w/ those bowl game rings.
