Stat that floored me

The comment was a question about the timing of the commitment. I didnt say I expect him to drop or I want him to drop. I asked was the data drawn from the time they committed which in this case he is the #1 OT currently or at the conclusion of the ranking cycle when he could potentially drop. You always say stupid **** like people like me said. If I didnt ******* say it, then keep that bs out my mentions. I'm done wit it.
Boy who cried wolf.
Sure you COULD have just been asking. Real question. Sure you COULD have been framing it more like others were when they were saying now that Cantwell committed to us he’d drop in the rankings….

But given literally nobody thinks you were, that should probably tell you something. That you write that an everyone just assumes you are trying to IMMEDIATELY downplay the commitment and slant it in a “he won’t even be OT1 long anyway, so nbd”…

Hilarious!

The guy posted a question to @DMoney TWO MINUTES after @DMoney posted, and we are supposed to believe that, in two minutes, he analyzed the post and the data and had a critically important follow-up question on the methodology...

Hilarious.

I didn't ask you the question, and I truly dont understand why you think I would. Thanks though.

Here's where it's relevant to know what you're saying. Number one he is absolutely a red shirt sophomore. That means he is going into his third year of college if he was a true sophomore that would be his second year. Moving forward that juco OT that you talk about was the number one juco offensive tackle. He was the number four juco player. And he has freakish intangibles The guy is a monster of an individual. So don't use him as a way to critique Samson two completely separate individuals and circumstances. simply using our own history as an example we've had several offensive lineman come from the juco route one that is a very similar story to markel being BMAC that showed the value they have that became first round picks. Now if you look at Bell right now I don't know his eligibility status but if he is coming out at the end of this year just on his size alone he'll probably be somewhere around the fifth rounder maybe a fourth rounder but if he puts together an impressive year he can shoot up into the second or third round if he has one more season and he puts together back to back good years he will be a first round pick that's not an opinion that's fact a guy that freakishly large putting together a good resume says he will absolutely be highly regarded going into the draft
would you bet on Samson (OT) or Kinsler (OT or OG I guess) winning a starting job next year, or hitting the portal (as in US hitting portal for starting LT)? I’d hope Bell is a 3rd rounder and Mauigoa is top 10, and one of them wins LT job with Cantwell at RT. And SJ steps in at Cemter. McCoy returns LG and then Buchanan or Portal RG

im not saying bell wont be a first rounder but its foolish for anyone to suggest hes a first rounder guaranteed right now. he isnt. yes i know the diff between a redshirt and a true (i attended the very same college you supposedly did), but he is what he is. through 3 seasons here (2 on field), he hasnt been able to see the field either due to injury or not beating out others. Bell is talented and a freak of an OL, but so far, samson has been a bust. now that he graduated, i wouldnt be shocked to see him in the portal (same w emory).

Kinsler.

we should have cut ties with samson last year and throw his NIL money elsewhere.

Not a single person is acting like he’s a first rounder guaranteed lol.

Do you know how much he is making?
This is the funny thing when everyone says we should stack 5stars. Yall realize if we signed 3 5star OTs, it would mean 1 wouldn’t play for like 3 years even in best case scenario, right? Thats the funny thing about all this and how people think we need to just get elite player after elite player…

from D money comments, its not cheap. keep thinking he isnt a bust right now meanwhile his classmate is about to go pro in a year. CANTWELL just committed

These numbers are just from 247 draft website

Since 2015- Alabama has had 99 draft picks

87- were 4 and 5 star players

12 were 3 star players

Since 2015- Georgia has had 86 draft picks

70 - 4 and 5 stars players

16 - 3 star players

Since 2015- Miami has had 52 draft picks

28- 4 and 5 stars

24- 3 stars or less

You're right the rankings are completely irrelevant. Even though that's how you all judge them regardless if we get three stars then all Mario sucks if we get five stars it's oh Mario doesn't develop if we get four stars it's these guys are not as good as their rated or the rankings are irrelevant. Can't never win with yall. But you're absolutely right they're rankings are irrelevant because the people that are ranking them are using a monetary system and their own financial gains to assess their rankings. I've said over and over rankings are for nothing but a fan base. If a kid doesn't spend money on camps if a kid isn't committed to a school that makes a difference they're not going to get the same rankings as a kid who is. But regardless just use Malachi Tony as an example use daylin upShaw as an example. both of them were barely inside the top 500 according to these lists and anyone that looks at Malachi Tony's game what he's actually done his results and put on film & the same thing with upshaw and doesn't recognize those kids are **** good football players then **** their opinions cuz they don't know **** about what they're looking at,
Exactly recruiting rankings don't matter to mopes when a 5 star comes here he has to prove it, but god forbid mario takes a 3/2 star because he sees potential, they'll throw that logic out the window & wont hesitate for a second to use that as a negative spin lol smh. They were makin jokes about the staff taking Joel Ervin when it looked like Cantwell was off to UGA but now all of sudden rankings dont matter lmao.

I wouldn't bet against them getting significant playing time. I don't think starting is anywhere near as relevant when you're talking about squads that rely on dominant play out of their offensive line. Two deep is just as relevant as starting. Now would you want one of them starting? Yeah absolutely, and I wouldn't be surprised if one of them does. But if they're not and they're in the two deep, would I be upset? Not in the least.

Before you're able to flip back to this side of the coin I'd really hope you reached out to the individual you were talking **** to when he said what was going down around the middle of last month... Now the rest of the chips will start to fall. Some people really do love California though right? Lol I won't keep on you about this. But I will say 2 of those 3 you mentioned are already in the fold...

Do just need to feel like they know more than they do. That's all. Some people simply need to be more comfortable with what looks back at them.

Don’t even know what you’re talking about

My post is to show we will be back to having high draft picks because of those 5 stars, the same way Alabama and Georgia got them

Maybe I'm wrong. If so my bad. But wasn't it you who said everyone was trending & going elsewhere and when a poster said a certain timeline when **** would get crazy you threw it in his face afterwards that nothing happened so clearly he was wrong? If that wasn't you than my bad. Most of these names blend for me.
