START WILLIAMS…

Everyone on the board hated Mendoza now they’re running it back acting like he should have been the savior. When Beck has a running game he is fine. No running game and he panics

I’ll just say this about Beck…

He’s not a leader. UGA fans chirped after 2023 bro was feeling himself, & he was more into the fame than the game.

When Cam threw bad ints last yr, he went to his OL & his WRs to apologize. He would immediately tap his chest & say “that’s on me.” He would go to Dawson & say “I know what I did wrong; don’t worry I got it, run it again.”

Beck? It’s “OMG, y?” His body language just sucks & it’s the defense coming to him, like Toure, telling him “don’t worry, ‘we’ got u.” I don’t like my QB1 aloof & having poor body language when things aren’t perfect. We’ve had that type of leadership before, & it didn’t pan out well.

So hopefully he snaps out of it, grinds again, & realize this is his best opportunity to get to the NFL, & if I’m noticing this, scouts r, too.

I said it last night. Too much pressure and Beck will lay down on you. Folding is something he does his body language tells it all.

The biggest leader on the offense is a kid that should still be in high school (Fletch as well to be fair I think)

Bless that unbelievably talented young man and the family that raised him, but that just can’t be how we do it

Hate Beck’s body language and shook eyes…your qb has to be a sick mfer mentally to fight through highs/lows of games, and he’s not that guy.

Yes in general in college football in 2025, but even more so with the running scheme Mario and Mirabel like to run. When they have had QBs who can run (Anthony Brown & Cam Ward) they averaged 5.5 and 5.4 ypc against P4/5 teams, which is really good. In the 3 years without a QB who is a running threat here we've averaged 3.5 ('22), 4.7 ('23), and 3.4 ('25 so far) against power conference opponents.

Do you live in Scranton? I was born there, graduated from the University of Scranton and MBA from BC. Used to get back to visit family and might make a trip in the Spring to visit some old high school buddies.

And how much of that last yardage you quoted is Oline pushing guys down the field for 3-4-5 more yds…
