happy to get him, but is that a loop in that swing?
all swings should tech have a loop. Almost like the nike swoosh.

the idea of a flat swing is old school and outdated.

If a guy is throwing from a mound down hill and you are trying to swing level to hit it you are basically saying "I want to hit a ground ball" or I want even less time to make contact

You want to get on plane with the ball and stay on plane. Without getting to deep into launch angle and all that stuff its ideal for line drives...and lines drives can then turn into Homeruns

I like this kid’s potential. Added some pop this past season. Could be a real lynchpin to the lineup.

this ☝️

(+100)

I think two most important things left is

A very good catcher who can hit over 300.

A Friday night starter.

Then obviously add bullpen pieces same way we did for this season.

But a catcher and ace, make this an actual team to fear.

agreed, but this looks very awkward...hopefully he plays well for us.

It appears we have a Portal pipeline of talent originally from soFla who played at smaller and/or lower profile programs. Not a bad tactic. This has potential to replace JUCO pipeline UM used to
exploit during the Fraser and Morris era. I think we're seeing similar approaches in football and hoops.

Is this kid going to be a Top 250 talent in the Portal? Because that's what we need more of.

That, and a clear delegation of the pitching coach duties. And the addition of a fiery assistant coach to do and say the things that JD is constitutionally unable to do and say to motivate the team.

A bit more technology would be nice, as well as some more tutoring in situational hitting.

Could use some lessons in situational base running also
