Stanford @ Miami -29.5

Doesn't make it not true.
It’s not true. In the Florida and FSU games, it was the passing game that killed our drives. Not once have we gone run, run, run, punt with a lead. That’s a CIS myth.

Do you really not notice that we go into a very conservative plan on both sides of the ball when we get a lead? Bro, that **** is maddening. You gotta be trolling at this point.
We don’t, though. That’s a CIS narrative. Go look at drive charts. We killed drives with incompletions in those games. If we had run MORE against FSU and Florida we would have closed them out easier.

I don't disagree about Florida, but FSU was anticipating the run based on our formations and tendencies. They were selling out to stop it and did stop it pretty effectively. Are you happy with the offensive play calling thus far?

So I was right.

If this team was for real the would win 50-3 on Sat but we know they won’t. Oregon smacked around Rutgers awasy but I guaranteed you we will not do the same

So I was right.
I'm saying I agree that we should've taken what the defense was giving us against Florida, but I think the defense in games we get ahead goes into a very soft zone and tries to keep everything in front of them instead of staying aggressive. Notice how I said both sides of the ball. I never said we run run run punt. I did say we run a very conservative plan on both sides of the ball.

We literally have a 30+ point win against an FBS team this year.

Big fan.
Our win against USF was a great win and a little underrated. They are a good team and we dominated that game. Since then, our offense is trending down. We haven't come close to putting up 40.

I know Stanford is terrible, but the book is out on Dawson. Unless he becomes a little more creative, I don't see us going scorched earth on any remaining opponents. 20+ runs up the middle and 15+ tunnel/bubble screens aren't going to cut it.

30 points ? How many games have we scored 30 points ? 2?

I took 31.5 with Stanford.... Could regret it but Mario has 0 interest in winning big

Up 2 TDs and we're running the ball the rest of the game dang near

Might take the total under too....

Appreciate you out here doing the lord's work getting 10 toes down with these mopes. We beat a ranked South Florida by more than 30 and this board was breaking out the kneepads for Mario and our trenchwork.

Now we play one of the worst games of anyone all season, against a Top 25 team and a Top 20 defense, and still have a chance to win down the stretch and these guys want to see us disband the program.

This is why we don't deserve nice things.
