Stanford Game Time **9:00 KICK**

Jesus, kids, remember when Burger King was giving away the tickets along with a Whopper so you would go see Lou Saban's Sad Sack Canes in the Orange Bowl, before the Administration hired Schnelly away from the Dolphins?

Them were the Days! Now it cost a #Canes fan THREE F**KING GRAND to see his own **** team in the Natty at the Rock!

I bet the ticket prices for the 1984 Natty weren't anywhere near $300.00. Anyone remember?

anyone know when Stanford typically releases single game tickets?

I see tickets for this game on Stub hub/seat geek etc. Some are particularly high, others are starting to creep down (saw $241 for lower bowl, and $78 for upper bowl) - wasn't sure if that's typical or what.

I'll probably end up waiting either way, just trying to gauge what to expect to pay for good seats on the miami side
Think stanford single game tix go on sale june 4th.

We had a very weird offensive lull that went from the 4th quarter of the FSU game all the way through til NC St. I don't anticpate that problem this year. Stanford has a few decent players on defense in the front 7 but their secondary should not be able to hang.
I made an entire thread about it last year but we actually had a lot of severe lulls. Florida, USF, ND we had very long stretches where the offense just couldn’t do anything. It really was bizarre. Part of it is hey **** happens but we were consistently inconsistent.

Part of it I think was when we just decided to make Toney the focal point but it just was an inconsistent offense right up until the final game that cost us

I agree though this year I expect that to be cleaned up

Edit:

Found it

Not Stanford but I emailed the Canes ticket office the other day and they said away game request will open July 8th.

So should I wait for UM ticket office allottment?

If you have a good Hurricane Club ranking #, sure. I'm going to purchase through UM. I would also expect that this will not be a "high demand" game, it's a long trip against a lesser opponent. And while it's on Labor Day, it's a Friday game.

That's my 2 cents.

Thanks. I might just bite the bullet and ensure good seats now.

Just got my tickets! Can't wait for the game. I was at the Cal-Miami game, and that was one of the best and most exciting games I've ever seen in person. This time around though, I'm expecting Miami to dominate.

Checked this morning but seems you can only buy tickets if you buy in bulk, anyone have any luck? Trying to get 2 without paying stubhub prices
Looks like single game tickets sold through Stanford don’t go on sale until June 11th. They were suppose to go sale this morning ,but a Stanford rep said he would give me call next week instead as the date has changed. Will let you know what type of pricing I get.

Not sure what's going on, but I bought my tickets today. Bought it through Stub Hub.

I think tickets listed on Stubhub are season ticket holders who are trying to turn a profit. From what it sounds like, actual single game tickets being sold through the school aren't listed yet. I would think these would be cheaper than going through 3rd party websites, but I'm not sure what the typical price for Stanford home games are. We are a big opponent, and I would think there may actually be a decent amount of Cane fans making a weekend out of this one.

Tickets ended up being $69 each. Pretty good price IMO, but definitely not the best seats. Thankfully, their football stadium isn't that large, so even nosebleed seats are okay.

Also a good thing even though their biggest game, its not their season opener.. As they got Hawaii the week before.
