Stanford Game Time **9:00 KICK**

Said this a few times. It was my first takeaway when the schedule was released. We knew we were playing at Stanford, we didn't know when. When I saw Week 1, it was literally best case scenario, IMO. Fly out there Monday. You don't want to have to take this trip in the middle of the season. But Week 1, it's perfect. And now the game is at 9:00 Miami time, which is late but not the 10:45 we had for Cal. Even if you don't head out several days early, the body clock is much better versus what it could have been.

Genuinely best-case scenario for this game.
These are the thoughts of someone in their 40s

And I agree completely

Yeah, if the game was on a Saturday, I'd understand the bellyaching about the start time. Since it is a Friday though, 9pm EDT (6pm PDT) is the best the Canes could hope for. They won't start a weekday game earlier than that....unless they want an empty stadium.

Game time is ok for me- I'd prefer a little earlier start but whatever, this gives us time to eat and pregame for a little longer. It won't interfere with our fantasty football draft later that weekend, so there's that.

Yes, it will probably be a 13-3 game at half though and the board will be in a meltdown. We'll win 38-10.

I'm not worried

Wasn’t Cuse where we had to pull out the Mauigoa TD? Yeah we played like **** on offense against Stanford and Syracuse. NCST was a good game but Pitt is where we finally seemed to put it together just in time
Yes. Up until that drive everything was awful. Upshaw had the 40 yard catch run that provided some juice that drive. But prior to that we had the body language of a MTSU game. That drive turned our season around IMO

Somehow it was 7-7 and they had the ball until we got the INT

Pretty much sums up our team and offense most of the year last year
We had a very weird offensive lull that went from the 4th quarter of the FSU game all the way through til NC St. I don't anticpate that problem this year. Stanford has a few decent players on defense in the front 7 but their secondary should not be able to hang.

anyone know when Stanford typically releases single game tickets?

I see tickets for this game on Stub hub/seat geek etc. Some are particularly high, others are starting to creep down (saw $241 for lower bowl, and $78 for upper bowl) - wasn't sure if that's typical or what.

I'll probably end up waiting either way, just trying to gauge what to expect to pay for good seats on the miami side
