Overall I think this is a **** good staff. Counting the HC and S&C team, 8/11 roles are filled by SEC coaches (other 3 breakdown with 1 HS, 1 Big East, 1 NFL). Missouri DL coach is a homerun. OL coach has been hired by some of the best coaches in the country for the last decade+. Those are the 2 most important position coaches in terms of teaching technique and those were probably Richt's 2 most sound hires.
Diaz is a little boom or bust, but his scheme certainly fits the local talent (disruptive 4-3). Out of the entire staff I could see him getting replaced in a few years, but that's true of every single defensive coordinator across the NFL and NCAAF. Very few good defenses out there that aren't coached by Saban/Belichek.
Banda, Hartley, & Brown are all young guys with short resumes but they also have recent experience working in the systems that will be put in place by their respective coordinators. Were there more experienced position coaches out there? Likely yes, but it would not be ideal to have an entire staff learning new schemes themselves while trying to teach the players. Richt and Diaz seemed to bring along their top choices based on who they trust to lean on.
Rumph is a huge wild card and i'm really intrigued to see how he pans out. He sort of combines the best qualities from Ice (HS State Champ), Beard (respected local recruiter) and Kehoe (connection to 2000 team). He has the most potential to make an impact right away if he can help lock down some of the top DB targets down the stretch and also get us back in the mix with Heritage. Dugans is also intriguing since he's recruited FL the past 2 years and also has a pretty solid track record coaching up wideouts.
Ironically the least exciting staff member on paper is the guy who was in the NFL last year, but obviously he was part of the deal from day 1 with the HC.
