Staff fixed our most glaring need

Boring as **** to watch. 5 yards and a cloud of dust.
Honestly why I said you light up teams like bethune/usm. Let TVD and WR get their stats and eat. Because early on after even first driveI was content to just run every play.. but we were in pass mode with secret playbook.. Got in redzone throwing ball. lol why

Oline. Proof they can coach. Give it time. It’s not a quick fix. Both lines look solid. Only to get better. Rather this get built the right way for a dynasty than a quick fix one hit wonder.

OL and DL are the strengths of this team overnight and that’s huge. I’m happy for that and DBs played well. Steele is the man.

Proud of the physicality we showed against that talent. We were dominating them up front on both sides of the ball
That was definitely a positive. Unlike in the past in these types of games, we did not look overmatched.

Did they though?

It didn't look like it last week.

It wasn't apparent in the red zone, where it counts this week against four and sometimes three man fronts.

We gave up zero sacks. What's that mean though? When I ask that, I've gotta look at the opponent. A&M only had 1 sack against App State, same field. Southern Mississippi gave us more trouble than they did.

I think people are trying to look for positives here. I get that, but it's too early to say fixed IMO. I don't think that was a good team we played last night and I do believe the season will prove that.

Linebacker and db play improving too. Is it me or is Corey Flagg just getting better and better every week?
That's the point. Spring and Fall camps can only take you so far; it's about who we are at the end of the season when it counts most as our players adapt to new coaching and schemes. Challenge is figuring out how to win and remain in the hunt each weekend.

He played well last night. He didn’t start but to his credit he was pretty sharp when he was in there watching from stands. I knew they’d get either him or Steed matched up with 6 and give him the opportunity at some point to make a play and he did to no surprise. Flagg popped 6 a couple times between the tackles. TAMU didn’t take advantage of that as nearly as much as they should have but credit to the DL for making life much easier for the 2nd level.

Weren’t many negative plays allowed. Shocking TAMU didn’t blitz more. Will be interesting to see how the defense performs with an uptempo offense. A&M didn’t really go at any of our weaknesses. Credit to them though they made the plays when needed.

This is why i am angry...we dominated them on OLine and Dline....
And still did knucklehead BS with many dropped passes...stupid errors that were unforced...etc..
I love how our Defense played...when a defense plays that way...we can win every game...
Just frustrated but there are many positives...we are a better team than aTm and hopefully our team will grow

I knew people on the basketball courts that would rather look good and lose than look bad and win. Is that you?

Best teams are built in the trenches. We will be fine. Just got to keep working and I truly believe Mario is the man to get this ship going the right direction.

**** I thought I was the only one who thought this way. Coaches kept us in the game. Execution was awful. We are not there talent wise yet. Missed field goals dropped balls and it’s the coaching. Loses are always tough but a lot of these harsh reactions aren’t from true fans.

I literally didn’t hear a single person say our biggest weakness was the ol this off-season. They have a better run blocking scheme than lashlee did 100%, but were still 64th in the nation in ypc. That’s not fixed and being average sure as **** doesn’t prove they are amazing coaches.

and you would think teaching receivers to catch would be just as easy for amazing coaches
