Sign me up for him right now. Have only seen people rave about him.
Yeah, I understand there would be some fan push back but I’d be willing to bet on our success under him. Sky is the limit for ole Schu, real talk.

I was told Schuman is an absolute beast. A lab tat. People around their program think highly of him.
He’s a phenomenal teacher of football. So many people credit him with taking things from Kirby’s mind and making them digestible for the players.Yeah, I understand there would be some fan push back but I’d be willing to bet on our success under him. Sky is the limit for ole Schu, real talk.
Well…****Can speak to that personally. Worked along side him for 3 years. He is a special mind when it comes to X and O’s. He has been under Kirby’s wing since like 2009 and learned a ton from him. His father is also a long time successful coach, it’s in his blood.
I know I have been probably the biggest proponent on this board of hiring someone with experience for our coordinators but I would be okay with Schumann as our DC. He has learned from 2 of the best to ever do it on that side of the ball. Not just X and O’s, but recruiting too. He is young, he is elite on the trail, he knows modern day defenses and isn’t an old stubborn guy that is stuck in his ways. I personally think the ceiling is so so so high with him and he knows first hand what an elite CFB defense is supposed to look like and has been a crucial part of so many. He was going to get his shot either way, and Mario knows what he can do first hand as he was on the same staff as him for his time at Bama. Our LB core would be unreal and it would be NIGHT AND DAY under him. I would be for it. I know him personally and know what he is capable of and I truly believe that he is a star.
Side note...
The last coach to get their first shot at DC after leaving that Saban tree was Pruitt back in 14. His first year as DC, he thrived with FSU. Their defensive was aggressive, multiple, tough, disciplined and they won the natty that year. Just something to keep in mind.
They heard about that staffing budget lolI’m talking positions….plural. A lot of known names are reaching out.
Funny how that worksThey heard about that staffing budget lol
**** that has to be the guy then.He interviewed him for the DC job at Oregon Last season
Does one of them end in Nard? HahaIf people knew the coaching names that has reached out to UM they would need to go the ER for an erection lasting longer than December.
While that certainly is part of it, they also look at the roster of players and the other names floating around (coaches all talk, they know who is favoured to be here on Mario’s staff) as well as Mario himself. Great recruiters don’t just excel at recruiting players. Plus you cannot forget it’s Miami and what that means to coaches… All of these are factors alongside the budget being what it is.They heard about that staffing budget lol

Some good names mentioned, of those mentioned I think one seems intriguing Jajuan Seider.
Coaching running backs at Miami has to be an upgrade to the living in the middle of nowhere in Bumfūck Pennsylvania.
I realize for some that may not be a compelling reason for him to uproot and come back down to the state, but he’d be a nice pick up, especially in terms of recruiting I think.
Definitely going to be the best staff in the ACC.What cribby said. If 3/4 of the names come, this might be the best staff in America
Can you post it so I don’t have to do the work? ThanksHe also knows how to take shots at Mario.
Google the stories around UW Oregon game this year.
That was Lake’s last game as HC.
If Mario based on what he said about Lake in the leaked locker room audio after the game hires him I will be shocked.
Hopefully after 1st signing dayHow long does it usually take for a staff to be assembled and announced?
I ******* love that new hashtag#TOM
Especially the way Dabo is goingDefinitely going to be the best staff in the ACC.
