Stacy coley

Those that blame coaching need to explain why Dorsett, Lewis, Berrios, Waters, etc don't seem to have this problem.

It's on Coley to be prepared and put the work in. No evidence he has done that this year.

So outside of Dorsett what have the other three guys you named really done this year. Lol Herb can't get on the field, Malcolm is basically an extension of the 12/22 formations, and Berrios has more drops than Coley does even worse Berrios drops have come in critical situations. So if those are what you want to claim as coaching success stories that just shows how far this program has fallen. Not only do we have winning the ACC Coastal as a ceiling now, but a team that use to have three WR with 40+ catches and 600+ yards each, thinks having 3 guys with 20 receptions and about 600 yards total is a great feet. Lmao twenty receptions and 600 yards total in the age of high tempo offenses and rules that favor the offensive player. Oh my gosh get these **** losers away from my team so people can see what a great (**** I'll even settle for a good at this point) offense looks like.

Who said anything about weed? I have not heard anything about Coley and weed but I will not dismiss the possibility.

I heard his main problem this year is he does not work out at all and is fragile because of it. He went into a major slump this year. Next year I expect him to continue where he left off freshman year.

Didn't work out in offseason or now? Aren't weight room workouts mandatory?

That's straight from one of his former hs coaches. I'm no insider just what I was told. I'm talking to more coaches down there so once I get out the Navy I'm going to coach HS down there starting in 2015. (Part Time) That's why I said I'm no insider but his actual former coach said that so tifwiw as always.

Coley's mental is weak with a body to match. Even if you he gets his head together, he's a last day guy. He's gonna get broken in half in the NFL.

Which coach told you that?

The coaches ****ed this kid up. He is a proven talent and the coaches needed to simply let him play through his early problems. When Duke fumbles, the coaches go right back to him. This immediate response enables the player to get back to what they do best and move forward. Instead of getting him some deep throw opportunities in space they forced him to keep trying to make plays and take hits. He is obviously not fond of contact and they keep putting him in positions to take hits. Why is he on kickoffs and punt returns at this point? Why keep giving him screens with Berrios blocking for him (poor blocks). He is not effective in thes roles because he is averse to contact. Let him run safer routes like posts, corners, fly patterns. If he catches them, great we score points. If he doesn't we stretched out the defense and give them something to think about. Either way it helps us and it is better than seeing him sulking after taking unnecessary hits. Also, it is obvious that he didn't take UTough seriously and that is on the coaches. The coaches should have been riding his *** to ensure he was ready physically to compete. I heard only great things about his preparation this offseason which means that was all bull**** or he is just the weakest most fragile players on the team. Either way let him do what he does best strecth the field and make plays in space.

Offseason. They are mandatory but multiple players told me he does not lift much at the weight room workouts.

Our coaches are the worst but newsflash, it's possible to have bad coaches AND have players that are responsible for their own underperformance. The two aren't mutually exclusive. We have reports from multiple posters that Coley is heavy into the weed, we have reports from multiple posters (and our own eyes) that he's allergic to the weight room, we have reports that he has attitude problems, we see him confused on the field, we see him playing soft, we see him dropping passes. This guy sucks this year and it's his own doing. We're really going to need him next year. Hopefully this offseason he gets his **** together and shows up ready to ball next fall.
