not a "serious" injury, I'm told. Don't expect him to miss an extended period of time

Excellent news. That screen to him was horrible. I can't remember if that was the one on 3rd and 1, but Coley had 3 guys on him almost as soon as he caught the ball. A great play call to get him injured.

Happy that Berrios shouldn't be out too long either. These 2 will add some value this year to the WR corps.

I did enjoy reading the other post about Berrios being "pedestrian". Berrios may have run the fastest shuttle time by a Cane since Roscoe Parrish (I think Parrish did a 3.79 while Berrios did a 3.81 - best in the nation that year). His productive value will be learned soon enough, but he certainly is not "pedestrian".....

Hopefully (James) Coley will summon his inner Bill Walsh before next Friday to learn how to call a game on offense (incredibly unlikely).

Coley is really a high school OC. Berrios is a major key to having a winning season. I expect the Haters on here will hope he is out for the year.

Has coley completely ignored all the instruction on route running? is there a reason that the only time he is the first option it is a ******* screen? Is he worthless and just taking up a roster spot at this point?

Did they come here to play football or running obstacle courses?
People have love affairs with this guy man what the **** has he done? i don't dislike him but dam you would swear he is the second coming of santana moss according to some of you. he has been pedestrian so far, nothing special. meanwhile we have stacey fkin coley and a shtload of more talented receivers rotting away on the fkin team but everyone is obssessed with berrios.

Just rewatched last year's FSU game. Coley was open on a fly pattern by 10 yards and Kaaya threw the ball 10 yards behind him. WTF.
Hard to fault a freshman QB but there is room for improvement with his accuracy.

those stats mean as much to me as our 15th ranked defense last year.
that doesnt prove anything other than our coaches knack for mismanaging talent.
and no offense, but your an idiot if your trying to imply that berrios is better than coley

Please do the same, showing the freshman season for both.

We'll see if Berrios has a similar "sophomore slump".

Keep running those screens in heavy traffic with Stacy. It worked great last year, and it'll work great this year. By the way, great reporting on the injury. Very solid info there.

If you were watching the game at all, you would have seen he got hurt on his first catch. He got up limping around. Probably cause he actually ran a route and caught the ball. I do agree Coley is not a good OC and the amount of screens is ridiculous.

They've both left a ****load on the field so far but there's time for that to change.
