Total incompetence by staff to utilize this player. Unreal!! Microcosm of how bad Program has sunk.
 
He can't catch, he can't make people miss, he can't break a tackle.

Well they stopped running bubble screens....how else is he going to catch a ball. Cant run routes, doesnt get open and Burgess made him scared to play

He returned kicks and punts this year and was average at best.Utilized in a major play maker position all year in two roles (punt and kick return)

I wouldn't blame the staff on incompetence for this. I think Coley should have been removed from these roles and replaced with Herb.

Coley needs to get his weight up.
 
stateoftheu is a **** site but run by run retards like Cam Underwood and Captain ****face. They makes excuses for the Fat man all the time.
 
This is why he should redshirted a year ago. Read his own press clippings. Also the staff didn't help.
 
With sucked this year as a whole on special teams dont even think Duke would of returned anything to the house this season.

Coley is the type of player you use to create mismatches like how Watkins was used at Clemson. Fisch recognized that and got him the ball in a variety of ways and he excelled. A year later under a different coordinator he goes ghost.

Kaaya didnt help either.... it is the QBs job to get receivers the ball.

The entire WR group disappeared for huge chunks of the season, i think to save Kaaya from throwing more interceptions.
 
He was used EXACTLY the same way he was used last year. Last year he was making plays on returns and turning screen passes into big plays. I hate the staff, but Coley was awful this year on his own.

I'm all for Firing everyone, but Fisch never coached Coley.

Coley had about the worst Soph Slump I've ever seen. If in fact it is a slump... Kid needs to hit the weights HARD.
