Stacy Coley-0 td's this season.

He was used EXACTLY the same way he was used last year. Last year he was making plays on returns and turning screen passes into big plays. I hate the staff, but Coley was awful this year on his own.

Last year Morris got Coley the ball much better than Kaaya did this year especially deep... the times Kaaya tried Coley deep he missed terribly.

With sucked this year as a whole on special teams dont even think Duke would of returned anything to the house this season.

Coley is the type of player you use to create mismatches like how Watkins was used at Clemson. Fisch recognized that and got him the ball in a variety of ways and he excelled. A year later under a different coordinator he goes ghost.

ummmmm no not even close. Fisch was in Jax last year.

Coley never played with Fisch... Coley was utilized in the same way this year as he was last year, he just didn't perform well... He didn't sneak up on anyone and his athleticism wasn't enough... He needs to become a complete wideout... He isn't that right now... And next year our offense maybe quite underwhelming... No Duke, Dorsett or Walford...

Kaaya didnt help either.... it is the QBs job to get receivers the ball.

The entire WR group disappeared for huge chunks of the season, i think to save Kaaya from throwing more interceptions.

+10000
Our wideouts had very little opportunities to make plays... Dorsett should have been used more as well... This approach didn't work this year but the moderate success we experienced this year will not occur next year because we will lose all of our playmakers... Duke, Dorsett, and Walford will be gone... In all of our losses, most teams adjusted and shut down our passing game in the second half...

Didn't he drop a ball against Duke that would have been a 80 yard TD

the only pass of more than ten yards attempted his way alllll year.

I fault coley none at all...slight slump...but HORRIBLE use of him...I mean we legitimately through 5-6 fades in the redzone to 5'8 Braxton Berrios this year..Coley never even got a pass attempt in the redzone.

On returns..he is coached by Al Golden and i dont see ANYONE on our team breaking any returns with the walk ons and freshmans we trot out there to block for him that suck.....our special teams units as a whole suck...not just returns..kickoff teams etc...that falls on who?.

Some of our route concepts were completelty stupid this year....add to it coley ran clear out routes and bubble screens all **** year.

Not disagreeing with anything you say except in the FSU game Kaaya missed him twice deep. One was a terrible overthrow that would have been an easy touchdown and the other was down the right sideline that would have at least been a 30+yard gain, if not another touchdown as well, except that Kaaya threw it 10 yards out of bounds.

Kaaya has been terrible throwing deep and towards the sidelines all season.

The fact that our WRs disappeared with him at QB further proves that redshirting him would have been the best option.

I thought he was inconsistent with deep balls for sure. He made some really nice throws here and there, but at other times when the team really needed it (FSU) he didn't. I was pretty torn on who I wanted to see start at QB at the beginning of the season. Once Williams went down, I wanted Kaaya just because I had no desire to see Jake Heaps ever take a snap. But, I'm sure Heaps could have led them to a 6-6 season as well. At least I could have emotionally checked out in September and not in November knowing that Heaps was the starter.

Miami teams special teams of old were just the best athletes on the field. Now it's a charity and award for participation.

So do you disagree with the fact that Kaaya has missed terribly on a number of deep balls and passes towards the sidelines?

How many short screen passes to Dorset, Duke, Coley, or Berrios that Kaaya fluked horribly over their heads?... i would say definitely more than reasonable.
