Tyas Martin -- a 6-foot-4, 340-pound freshman -- and Ryan Williams (6-3, 275) entered the transfer portal days before Colorado's first spring game in the Deion Sanders era.

Both Martin and Williams were recruits in the Karl Dorrell era, signing with the Buffaloes in the 2021 cycle. Martin had 13 total tackles in 2022, while Williams had seven.

I mean, BVG was a 5 star. Everyone wanted him lol. Idk if I would say thats a UGA eval.

I loved his tape coming out of HS and feel like we can't judge 5 star QBs that go to UGA. Look at Justin Fields.

Doubt he comes here to sit a year behind TVD, but I would take him in a heartbeat.
 
Question for those that are plugged-in to this kind of thing - how many of the kids we hear about hitting the portal already have a destination? Like, by the time it gets to twitter is it already too late?

Another 5 star QB thinking or portaling. Yet some here crying all day lol. Only one can play ideally. This is not 2010. Keep saying it. 5 star means instant impact like Francis. We gonna be fine either way.

Am I reading this right that his receiver was targeted 32 times and he allowed only 8 receptions? Haven't seen his tape yet. But seems like a no brainer offer to get the eval process going.

The Fields decision is basically my point... He chose Fromm over Fields, when it was beyond obvious which one was better.

What Kirby looks for in a QB is different than what we should be looking for & why I wouldn’t trust his evals at all.

Especially considering what the scouts have been saying about Stetson Bennett after the Combine.

He was my favorite Qb that cycle. Highlight tape had some BEAUTIFUL throws against good comp. Would love to be able to convince him to sit a year and come in next year to start. Like you said, highly doubtful but man would it be nice.
