Been a while for us to have this level of depth. It’s rare amongst CFB.

We were hurting in the post-DJ Dallas/Travis Homer/Mark Walton era for a long minute. We went three seasons without a real NFL running back in the room until Fletcher was brought in.

RBs are often injured so glad everyone stuck it out in this portal era; I’m expecting Pringle to pop off for at least 750 yards this year.

Their O-line was horrible however I am encouraged to see Kevin Riley as one of Bama’s top RBs; just as it speaks to the level of evaluation going on w/ RBs.

I hope Riley’s dad appreciates his freedom because it came at the expense of his son playing at UM.

This is going to be the Darian Mensah show this season. He is going to take Toney's shine. He is the guy.
On day 1 outside on Greentree, Mensah threw a deep sideline, back shoulder pass to Cam Vaughn that was perfection. The ball placement was perfect. Cam made a great catch with Lucas draped all over him, but Mensah's throw. Wow, that's what I am talking about. Lucas couldn't have played it any better.
Knock on wood, outside of injury, I don't see how Mensah is not on stage in NYC late this year. I won't be shocked if he ends up as the most accurate passer in this programs history. That's a big, "if" statement.

**** i didn’t know all that.

Bama even tried to recruit over him & the other RBs this past offseason yet the Longhorns doubled up with Hollywood Smothers & Raleek Brown. GABOS.

His absence worked out better for us anyways. He probably would’ve portaled out quickly too.

OL is legitimate concern as in we will be replacing a bunch of vets and starts but should be in good hands.. LB we return Toure and only need to replace one spot, the defense is returning alot of upperclass talent with experience, I think we will be just as good and even improved in certain areas (pass defense has lots of room for improvement and we return a ton). TE is not a mjor piece of offense in grand scheme of things, we had a guy with athletic profile running 5.2 and terrible overall.. We are upgrading even if the position is neglected..

Team will be better overall
