Braxton Berrios did a whole lot of nothing for three years before blowing up his senior year. Mike Harley had a very nondescript career before putting together an incredible year last year. Not saying Pope is going to make some leap but it’s not inconceivable. It actually happens here fairly often.

The good news is, if he doesn’t want to put on the work, there’s plenty of guys here that can take his reps now.

The worst personal example of this type of behavior was trying to decipher if a PHOTO taken during spring practice of a D’Nofrio defense was evidence that we were somehow more aggressive because someone looked to be jumping across the line of scrimmage. That was a horrible synopsis, but you’ve definitely touched upon one of the saddest parts of this silly season.
