This is fair I think what happened was that Lucas knew he wasn’t catching him after he got beat. He was lucky (I think it was O’Connor) that saved him and got to JS. It’s no excuse though his chase down effort was bad. He’s still a good player though. The minute we got him back for the natty it helped the defense a bunch. It was a different game with him in there.

Also people would hate O’Connor if the refs called PI on the last play vs ole miss and they could have called it. He was grabbing a bunch in the playoffs

Y’all make me sick. O’Connor played as good as any of the other CBs the entire season and y’all ready to throw him out cause of a first down catch and/or a dropped INT.

Agree 100%. A couple of those Indiana passes were going to be difficult for anyone to cover. My only negative is that he dropped 2 or 3 picks last year. For a number 3/4 CB he’s a nice piece.

O'Connor got 'picked on' by the eventual first overall pick and an NFL WR. In practice, he’s going up against an, eventual, NFL first round QB, as well. He was solid just about all season. He'll get better.

This is what spring camp is supposed to be about. Im glad to hear our offense isnt giving him a break. We're going to need him, for depth, just like we did last season

The refs were surprising that they let us play. Next season they will look for that with him because we are in the spotlight now. So I expect them to target him cause in the off season they watched a bunch of playoff highlights. So he needs to work on that

Too young to see him play, only played with him in madden or watched him in the NFL.

This guy is special; can’t believe we were dealing with Jethro Franklin not too long ago.

If O'Connor is anything higher than CB4, I'm going to have MAJOR questions for the defensive coaches. I know that Damari and OJ were banged up, but kid got his confidence broken in the title game and clearly hasn't rebounded.

Based on what? Because he lost a route or two in practice to very good WR?

How do we know he "clearly hasn't rebounded"?
