Spring Spring PractiSe #6- Thursday, April 2nd

Dmoney said Scott is looking the best prospect on the team

If that’s the case I’m even happier we brought in Davis. Iron sharpens iron. No more Forstons or Silveras gifted a starting spot. You earn it by beating the other guy who wants it as badly as you and has equivalent or near equivalent talent. Scott becomes our starter, he earned it.

Who put mensah onto this song 😂😂😂😂

Mensah gonna have to find a way to spread 5-6 passes/game to 6 WR's and 1 TE to keep everyone eating and happy...
1) Toney
2) Barkate
3) Moore
4) Jacobs
5) Vaughn
6) Wingo/Upshaw
7) L. Gilbert TE
I expect to see a lot of 4 WR sets with no TE, as the WR depth is crazy at this point. Or just more true 50/50 rotation this year, except for Mali. But we saw how long the season is when you make a run, and it would be good strategy to keep everyone fresh with limited reps as permissible and build toward a strong finish.

You're leaving out Lofton at HB/TE and the RB crew. They're getting some throws their way, too.

Mensah threw for almost 4K Yards in 14 games last season. He could throw for the same or more in 2026 despite our strong ground game, though I expect he won't because we'll set him in the 4th maybe 3rd quarters of several games. Still, the QB committee will.

Assume 2K go to Toney and Barkate, there is 2 more to spread out to the other guys.
