I'm sorry but this makes me both angry and sad. We are so weak and thin at offensive tackle. Clearly poor recruiting/development with Washington and McLaughlin, as they were always considered projects, and have never taken the next step. Behind them... nothing.

So we're left with hoping a gimpy Zion Nelson can get and stay healthy, and that either a RS freshman (McCoy) or two true freshmen can go full-tilt as starters. I know Plan B and C are to find a unicorn in the portal who is starting OT caliber or kick out Rivers. But it's just disheartening to see how gapped we are once again headed into the season.

I know we've had true freshmen play tackle in the past (Winston, Fox, Henderson, Flowers, Donaldson). And I know these two freshmen have infinite potential. But it's completely unacceptable to be the Miami ******* Hurricanes and not have serviceable upperclass OTs.

You're complaining about Francis in on 1st team reps (a half pad practice at that) like he wasn't ranked higher than everyone you listed minus Seantrel.

You can’t fix the problems in one cycle. Be grateful that we signed 4 instant impact guys. The OL is in a much better place than it was last year even with the inexperience

It unusual but not unprecedented for freshman OL to start. Maui and Pancake are exceptional talents and we should be glad they’re on our team.

Mauigoa would be pushing for reps at Bama right now so I think you need to relax a bit.

Lol it's funny you are just realizing how weak and thin we are on the O line in general. It's better then last years John Campbell and Scaife literally no competition behind them. Going to take atleast 1 more class before we have a decent second team.

Meanwhile, people are questioning whether the first team All-AAC guard from Houston is a take.
