Was kind of joking but don’t get me wrong. I am scared about it. Backup qb looks good. And he’s gone to a mid level p4 to start

I think that's just the way it is now. If the backup qb looks good he could go somewhere else if the backup qb looks bad CIS and every other fan page will be saying we need to portal in another QB. Horton for instance has had solid reports all spring if he drops 1 or 2 passes in the spring game there will be an uproar on here about getting another WR in the portal ASAP.

He said nickel Mishael Powell “is starting to be that leader on defense, which they need. … He’s a good add for this team, is going to make plays for us.” Ward said Powell and Xavier Restrepo “go back and forth” winning reps in team drills.

It can be.
Athletes and coaches generally don't speak ill will about a fellow athlete or coach.
At least not directly.
But often you know how they feel about that person when they effusively praise the
person who succeeded them.
