I think it was the Southern Miss game where I said to a buddy “this is the first time in his career I’ve seen TVD look confused and hesitant.” should’ve been obvious then he was comfortable and trust was the issue. He didn’t trust his WRs, didn’t trust the O, didn’t trust his coach.

Spot on brother. He missed some really easy easy big plays against A&M that was just so….not TVD. That was honestly when I had a conversation with myself in my head realizing holy ****…this season is gonna be rough. It’s why I didn’t even watch MTSU.

Anyway, you feel me. Wipe the slate clean and let’s get back on track before he leaves here.

I only had to watch 3 seconds of that 6 second clip to reach the same conclusion.

I actually spent some time rewatching TVD stuff from the good and the bad. I’m no X and O guru or expert but it doesn’t take an expert to see part of the problem was trust

Not just trust in his receivers but trust in the offense in general

TVD didn’t “regress” (I ******* hate that term)

He’s still talented as ****. But when you watch the Lashlee games TVD relied heavily on Rambo and Harley. He was just letting it fly to those guys at times because he knew he could. It let him be who he can be.

He didn’t have that last year and it all kinda snowballed on him. Not taking all the responsibility off of him but it was like watching him overthink **** near everything last year. That’s not good for any QB.

I want to see him be given the tools to succeed because he’s without a doubt our most talented QB we’ve had in recent memory

He definitely was a bit too slow last year going through progressions and he missed open guys in nearly every game. If he improves in that area watch out cuz he definitely has arm strength & accuracy but we'll see what the kids truly made of.

JJ recruited George out of high school and when George was transferring out of Purdue. One story I read, George wanted a private dorm room. No roommate. Early prima dona behavior.
