Agreed. It’s hard to play the ‘what if / we should go X-X next year’ game with this team. If we perform like we did last year, then any given team on that schedule can beat us.That's the trouble with predicting this season. It's not like we were in close games last year like that one year with Manny where we could have been 8-4 or 4-8 if a couple bounces went the other way. We were God-awful in most of our losses. We could go 6-6 and still be a VASTLY better team.
Clemson, yes. TAMU beats us on talent, but that team has problems at the coaching level. Jimbo has issues. Not afraid of them. I'm counting on Mario to get his act together and win that game at home for us.Agreed. It’s hard to play the ‘what if / we should go X-X next year’ game with this team. Now I like to be fair and give the new staff a clean slate, and we will have turned over half the roster from last year. So that’s definitely a fresh start.
If we can grab another DT, a RB and two WRs from the portal then roster-wise I’m not afraid of any team on that schedule except TAMU and Clemson. Even with the additional talent and if our staff shows competence next year, both of those programs are still 2-3 years ahead of us.
But to consider FSU a given L is ridiculous. Same with UNC. If Guidry and Dawson aren’t fully brain dead, both are winnable games.
For reals?! Do he got a cannon like his dad had?Jayden George is the son of Jeff, 1st pick of the 1990 NFL Draft.
Look at this man, with that air raid terminology.Looks like 96 All Curl
“What if I told you….”Give him #0 and put the name Williams on the back. Nobody will know. Ask Bishop sycamore. The worst that can happen is another Miami 30 for 30
FactsNeed X to stay healthy (duh)
He’s not necessarily a game breaker but he will unlock a lot of space for some of our other guys
As much as Mallory took heat here he’s still a big loss as far as being a reliable target for TVD
Really really want to see X in Dawsons offense with a full healthy season. He could do some damage.
That's how they get the fans to drink the Kool aid. I'm sure Rutgers has the best roster ever right now. Some of these tweets though..
Caption: Great to see Don Chaney Jr #2 doing his thing out here
Video: a clip of Chaney with his helmet off taking a water break
Caption: Emory Williams looks good
Picture: Williams just standing there with his back turned towards the camera
All it took was the first hour of the first spring practice to conclude that:
"Jacurri Brown's accuracy has improved"
"Jackson Carver is a smooth route runner"
"Chaney looks healthy"
"Horton looks like the real deal"
Be honest. You'd hit a Mongolian 3.
I actually spent some time rewatching TVD stuff from the good and the bad. I’m no X and O guru or expert but it doesn’t take an expert to see part of the problem was trustFacts
I think it was the Southern Miss game where I said to a buddy “this is the first time in his career I’ve seen TVD look confused and hesitant.” should’ve been obvious then he was comfortable and trust was the issue. He didn’t trust his WRs, didn’t trust the O, didn’t trust his coach.I actually spent some time rewatching TVD stuff from the good and the bad. Not just trust in his receivers but trust in the offense in general
TVD didn’t “regress” (I ******* hate that term)
He’s still talented as ****. But when you watch the Lashlee games TVD relied heavily on Rambo and Harley. He was just letting it fly to those guys at times because he knew he could. It let him be who he can be.
He didn’t have that last year and it all kinda snowballed on him. Not taking all the responsibility off of him but it was like watching him overthink **** near everything last year. That’s not good for any QB.
I want to see him be given the tools to succeed because he’s without a doubt our most talented QB we’ve had in recent memory
