I remember when I was in elementary school watching the matchups of Josh McRoberts from my town vs Oden and Mike Conley when they were in high school. I thought Oden was an NBA player then because he looked so old

The real matchup was at North Central, Gordon and the Lawrence North duo. Gordon was spitting fire that night and posterized Oden. Conley was silly smooth and Oden looked good, but really was the third best player on the court that night. I missed McRoberts playing at Carmel, but he never lived up to his hype IMO. The back issue may have had something to do with that.
