Herndon looks a lot leaner. Last year he would carrying some extra baggage, now he's shredded out

Most coaches would kill to have 2 gazelles like Hondo and The Jokeman at TE. A leaner Herndon with his speed is going to surprise the poor-mouthing losers on here who think Richt has no talent with which to work. Talk to Nigel Patton if you don't think Herndon can run by DBs.

Those 2 beasts can be an absolute terror down the seams if Richt uses them enough. They're another reason I'm not concerned about our WR corps this year.

#39 or 38 (he has his jersey rolled up), whichever it is he doesn't look like he wants to be there not chopping his feet on the sled, dropping balls, who is that? the rest of the TEs Herndon, Njoku, Dobard looked good though.

Our quarterbacks are wearing out the grass (see last video)
Miami 3- Grass 28 (Hope we don't play them in the regular season)

We could essentially run packages on offense with multiple TEs on the field a la the NE Patriots

This is a 4 TE set, but you get the picture

Film Review: New England Patriots Perfect Four Tight End Set - Pats Pulpit

I'm with ya - 2 RB, 2 TE sets should be the norm this year. Even without depth at WR, we should have significant mismatches for our TEs and RBs coming out of the backfield.

You guys haven't heard? We need to play spread or we can't win. It's what all the good teams do.

Lol now herndon is a beast. This fan base never stops crowning guys who have not did ****.

Herndon will be a NFL TE in my opinion. He has a pretty complete skillset and just needs to continue to develop. Stop acting like such a know-it-all

I noticed that too. He's either not mentally there or just needs to get stronger. He seemed to really be struggling with the sled drill. Njoku, Herndon and Dobard all look legit.

I'd even venture to say that we could split Njoku out wide at the Slot WR (huge mismatch for a CB), have Dobard at the traditional TE spot (to block), and Herndon in the backfield serving as the H-Back. In that scenario, we'd still have 1 RB and the additional 1 WR (deep threat). I feel like that formation would give any defense a headache, especially with our personnel.

His schtick is talking down every UM player and talking up every player from other schools. Makes him feel like the detached unbiased cool guy who doesn't favor the team he roots for. Keeps his scout aura tight.

A know it all? He hasn't done ****. You ****ers keep running around screaming everybody is a stud or a beast when it's clearly not the case.

We all can agree that Njoku is indeed a "stud", but if we really want to do a comparison, here are both of their stats from last year:

G-GS REC YDS AVG TD LG

Herndon: 13-3 18 237 18.2 1 46

Njoku: 13-4 21 362 17.2 1 58
