Diaz Worsham, Jerry Payton and Mike Redding might be slow but they're all smooth athletes with great hands. Our WRs can't all be Reggie Wayne or Andre Johnson, but just catch the **** ball and we'll love you for it.

Are Payton and Redding that slow? I remember seeing Worsham's times and knowing he was a slower guy but I thought Payton and Redding were a bit faster. Not burners by any means but maybe like 4.5- low 4.6 guys.

Redding ran a 4.55 at the opening last year.

Not loving hearing that our OL is still getting worked lol and yes I understand it's only day 2. It's weird because on one hand you want to hear that our highly touted DL is beasting people, but on the other hand I would like to hear that our OL is stonewalling our talented DL. No win situation I guess.

Redding ran a 4.55 at the opening last year.

I knew I saw that somewhere just couldn't remember where from. With his size, that's totally acceptable even if he doesn't get faster. Hoping that as he matures he gets even a tenth of a second faster and end up as a high 4.4 kind of guy.

I agree which is why I'm not looking to deep into it. Well that and that it's only the second practice of the year with no pads on. Still was just saying I was hoping that some of the OL guys got a couple wins against some of the DL. Looked few and far between from what I saw.

Reading the 1st team and 2nd team reps I think UM has a nice blend of experience and young talent, but speed is still a concern.

I always take all of these practice reports with a grain of salt but King proved at Houston that he can be an elite college QB, so I don't see why he won't be able to translate that at Miami, in Lashlee's offense and with better skill guys.
