Spoke with someone on the BOT...

I don't believe Hilarie Bass is on the BOT but maybe I'm wrong. I know she's chair of the audit committee.

I just sent him this email:

Mr Miller,

The U was right in ridding us of Al Golden's incompetence. Thank you for your efforts.

However, recent rumors posted on CanesInSight.com (the defacto Canes fan forum) have the BOT strongly considering the likes of Mario "Benedict Arnold" Cristobal, Schiano, and retaining members of Golden's failed staff.

In case you have forgotten, Mario failed miserably at FIU, and was fired.

Schiano, a competent DC, was mediocre at Rutgers.

Golden's entire staff should have been fired, along with Golden.

There are several good coaches available, around the country.

Butch Davis is under our very nose. He was completely exonerated from the problems at UNC. He built, for us, the greatest college football team in history.

I, and other loyal Canes fans, are completely befuddled why Butch has not yet been hired.

Hopefully, this injustice will be soon rectified, and we can return to winning national championships, instead of being a national laughingstock.

Mario failed miserably at FIU? I'm not endorsing Mario at all but you lost all credibility there.

Do you really think the BOT is considering retaining anyone on the coaching staff. Dude, new HC are a new broom who sweeps clean. The new HC will decide whether to keep anyone on the staff, not the BOT.

Yes, I know what went down when Jimmy was hired. It will never happen again.

Do you know how to spell
G U L L I B L E ?

27-47 over 6 seasons. That's a winner in your world?

Credibility? Moi? Not looking for any.

No other coach has been able to replicate what he did @ FIU. He discovered James Coley in the process, although Coley's offense ranked last, it's mainly defensive/special teams that hurt that team, as it went 1-11 that season.

Strock left FIU in complete disarray, Cristobal did well to avg 4 win seasons there.

My apologies! Yes, 4 win seasons are exactly what we want.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Oh, and that's what we're going to get, this year. Joy, joy, joy.

Oh, me must have fired Fraulden in error. Let's get him back!

But but but Gary Ferman said Mario did an amazing job at FIU . I mean they had a closet for a weight room.

Let's put things in perspective........never mind. Continue on with your hating.

27 - 47 with 3 wins against teams with winning records in a lousy conference. Yeah, Mario clearly did a bang up job there. Just back up the Brinks truck to his door before someone steals him away from us.

Seriously... some of the media are stupid I understand,

But to hear cane fans call for Mario as HC???? We have some stupider people in in the fan base.

A large portion of this fan base deserve a mediocre hire like Mario Cristobal. They are stupid and don't have the ability to actually assess the situation. Mario will be hired and it will partially be because of some of the fan base.

At least the WEZ and CIS are doing their part to save the program. If we fail, might as well wash your hands of the program and find something better to do

Are there smelly faqguts in here actually being condescending toward people who think Beanerdict was a failure at FIU? Coach El Dorado was 3-9 in his 5th season in the shyttiest conference in D1 football. After 5 years of his superior recruiting in the most talent rich area of the country, and that slug was still the bottom dweller in the Sun Belt? And you don't think that's failure? LOL in your ghey face.
