I don't want Diaz but he is freaking badass DC. Best DC Miami has had since at least the mid 90's and probably since the mid 80's . Guy just gets it . Had Miami as the 2nd or 3rd best D in the nation this year. Sometimes teams scored due to our O turning it over but we rarely let a team go 80 yards on us and we feasted on turnovers. But I don't want a guy who has never been a HC . I would prefer Criostbal big time over Manny.

Diaz has proven it on the field for three years. Mario has proven he can recruit, but what can he bring on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball? Oregon ranked 62 in total defense and 32 in total offense this year and Mario is supposed to be an offensive guy?

Diaz will bring a top defense and that's more of a sure thing than what Mario will bring.

Christobal brings recuiting but 5stars without good coaching will play like 2 stars. Manny brings coaching on defense that has yielded top results for 3 yrs without elite level talent.

Diaz is not the answer IMO. He hasn't proven himself as a lead guy anyone yet, his defensive hires have been questionable and he doesn't kill it on the trail.

The Miami D has been great but he has struggled in some previous stops. This would be settling all over again.....no different than before.
