Spicer Possibly Starting Thursday

Miami is basically South/Central America Part 2. How we cannot find a competent kicker is beyond me. Go find a big brown Martinez or Jesus soccer player with a strong leg and teach him the punting mechanics.
 
Are you seriously telling me they can't find a rugby player at the University of Miami? Rugby kicking isn't as pretty as traditional punting because it tends to be a line drive with less hang time, but the upside is the ball generally takes wicked hops when it hits the ground giving more chance at turnovers. Even with less hang time, there is no way it is worse than Feagles 25 yard boots.

If Baxa starts punting he will be the shortest punter ever at Miami. That is going to be very unusual looking.
 
Put DeeJay back to punt - he does everything else!

And that he's the one fielding the ball . . . that will give a defense something else to worry about.

On DeeJay's absolute worst punt - we'd be in the same condition we're in with Feagles.

I guess you’re not too familiar with the student body at the university of Miami
 
At this point, anything would be an upgrade. I see the punters for FIU and friggin' Savannah State booming 45-50 yard punts and the punter from Miami can only kick them 28 yards sideways. We've actually been spoiled by kickers and punters here. We don't need the guy to be Matt Bosher or Pat O'Donnell. He just has to be OK.

Don’t make fun of Feagles name bro, you’ll make Mack Jonas ( the gayest Jonas brother ) cry. And I just can’t handle seeing him cry twice in one day.

It’s a shame we gotta choose the guy that doesn’t shank every punt, only half his punts.

This would be the equivalent of taking a pitcher who was a fastball guy who didn't develop anything else and making him a knuckleballer.

I'm on board with that. Couldn't hurt to try if what he's doing currently isn't working come game time.

So yeah it gets me tilted when people don’t like us booing the hot garbage that rosier and feagles are.
