Check all the post when he committed to Oregon. Um was pushing hard.

Ivins just said today (I asked him)...He's not sure what happened it summer, but it seems like UM slowed down and wanted to wait with regards to Denis.

Denis is good enough for Oregon whose HC is an OL coach, whose team is going to win the Joe Moore award for best OL, but Butch Barry has been lukewarm on him. I wonder whose evaluation should be trusted.

Horrible *** staff in Coral Gables.

So if we were to get Francois back on board, can he play cb for us? Or is he a for sure safety? Kinda like what we have in Gil.

I think he can play CB based on his athleticism and how he has looked in camps covering guys 1 v 1. I know some others on this board also think he can play CB. But my understanding is he's been recruited to play safety and the staff seems very high on him playing safety.

Im not that high on Denis either.
Tell us more.

I see where 247 rankings have JD ranked outside the Top 100 in Florida and barely within the Top 1000 nationally, so he's really a mid-3 star prospect as rankings go.

Only an OK athlete?

Marginal size-wise at 6-3, 280?

Just more of what we already have on the roster?

I think we fans are so are desperate for any crumbs of positivity when it comes our future with the offensive line
