Sony getting the full court press

It's so trippy that he might not be a Cane. I played ball with the son of a Heritage coach, and he swore Sony was the biggest Canes fan ever. He'd tell us what a stud he was since 8th grade and he always said unless Miami football is shut down, he'd be a Cane.

Crazy to me that he's committed elsewhere.

This was my understanding as well.

I've been hearing about his Cane fandom for years.

Yea I have heard the same

I was under the impression when he was younger that he was a Duke type fan

Saw this on espn board

On the year, Nick Chubb has 200 carries, ran for 2,149 yds, & rushed for 33 TDs! Avg 10.75 yds per carry

These are his stats through 8 GAMES!

Chubb, if you've not heard, is the other RB committed to Georgia.

cool story bro, now back to stuff that actually matters

That matters, "bro" because this might be another reason Sony is looking harder at UM. This Chubb is a beast.

Maybe the competition thing has more to it.

ItT seems like the ONLY kid who has been "duke like" for the past couple of classes is Trevor Darling. Dude will be a monster at UM. Hopefully Sony and/or Cook sign with UM. Can never have enough Elite players.

SIAP, from ITU:

Wearing a mighty nice watch. Here's to hoping he thanks Richt for it after he flips to us.
Wearing Muhammad Ali shirt. Muhammad Ali had six professional fights in Miami. Six is the number of Miami WR Herb Waters, who plays for Miami. Obviously he's a silent for us.

Don't we have Yearby? Tired of people not talking about this kid the way we should be.

Wait it gets even deeper. Ali's first name is Muhammad, Miami has a player with the last name Muhammad, in Al-Quadin Muhammad. He's wearing a golden watch. What is Miami's head coach's last name?

Ahhhh Yeah, I doubt Sony is afraid of any RB in the country at this point. Esp Mr. Chubb. Plus he said he wants to go somewhere where their are other good RBs.

Key lesson: Dont act like you are still attending kindergarten and bash kids. Learning to keep your mouth shut is an incredibly important skill to learn in life.

Only thing keeping Sony from not committing is his brother that is supposed to enroll at Georgia...but then again Marshall will still have 3 years to play, Gurley 2 years so he might still be a silent here...
