Sony getting the full court press

From the other Sony thread:

From UGAs 247 site

-UM never gave up on Sony despite what reports seemed to be and it does look like hes visiting sometime

- For right now he still seems solid to UGA

- Looks like he wont visit UGA anymore

- His brother might enroll in time for the spring semester

- IF he enrolls to UGA it probably will seal the deal for Sony

- According to the insider he is told theres nothing to worry about but he doesnt seem that confident

-The five-star combo back said Miami has been staying in contact and they want to get him out to a game before the season wraps up.
-"Right now it's only Miami, I talked to them a little bit," remarked Michel. "They call me and we have conversations. I might check out a couple of the home games for Miami."
-Michel said with the open date he will attend the UM-Wake Forest game on Saturday.
-As of now he is 100-percent committed to UGA, but keep an eye on the hometown Hurricanes. UM appears to be working hard to gauge his interest of a possible flip down the stretch.

J.C. Shurbertt from 247 has some notes up on sony if someone has access..

http://247sports.com/Article/Insider-Notes-Top247-makes-Crystal-Ball-pick-on-five-star-156874

- Early in the week rumors were flying about Sony status and since then UM hasnt given up to wehre he's visitng unofficially this weekend

- Conversations paid off for UM which led to Michel renewed interest but as of now he insist that he has "no interest" and he's 100% to UGA

- He seems solid for now but its something to monitor

Basically he doesnt know **** and UM is right in it

I love Crawford but I think he will be like Geathers and Hester and be moved to where we lack depth. Face it we have no depth this year at RB and he is needed big time and has delivered big time.

Duke
Crawford

Then nobody

Clements has answered when called upon and you don't write off Gus this early unless you're one those guys whose glass is always half full of **** meant for your Cheerios. I can't even respond to the rest of this thread because I'm not sure if people want Dallas at Safety and Antonio at RB to go with Sony at DT or what the **** is going on.

Well for the future..... Who knows on Gus at this point. He works hard, but is he going to be someone who is elite at running back or just ok. In some cases practice doesn't translate to the game. Duke will probably be gone after his junior year. Should ALWAYS have at least 4-5 good/great running backs on the roster.

Clements is a warrior but he is not someone u go into the season and depend on to be the 2nd back due to his neck issues. He has 19 carries this year which is awesome considering his career was possibly over.

Edwards is a project with great upside he needs to run with better pad level. He will be in the mix next year. I just think we will be a better team next year with

RB
Duke
Yearby
Edwards
Powell
Sony or Cook
Tucker

S
Jenkins
Bush
Crawford
Carter

He must be real impressed with the team right now

Seriously. Between Georgia and Miami I think I would start considering my 3rd option.

Apparently I need to work on my sarcasm/attempts at humor and excessive drinking during games.

Very limited sanctions, a great O-line class coming in, Olsen and Kaaya as the QB's, and some running back depth where we will not run you to the ground. Not too bad of a deal here.

Most UM caliber schools have that same stuff. Especially the school he's committed to now.it helps, but really not all about that.

You seemed to be dialed in to what's going on in South Florida. Odds of him flipping?

It should be if you grew up a die hard Canes fan

Why?

Because if all things are equal, which is what your troll *** just suggested, then Sony's "Miami fandom" should tip the scales in The U's favor.

That's why.

You dense mouth breather. And that's not name calling, it's just true.

Obviously you're mad.

Why is this guy still allowed to post here?

It's called facts. Why are you?
