The SEC has now become too big to fail. When an SEC team really wants a kid, he's theirs. It's ruined the sport, and destroyed our program.

Every year we lose out on the elite kids. EVERY ****ING YEAR. And the SEC gets to bend the rules with zero consequence.

When a kid loves one school, but goes to another, it's bc he was incentivized. Whether that means money or giving his ****** brother a scholly, he was incentivized.

Like i have been saying though, we CANNOT compete with the money they throw around.

This **** started happening once Emmert, a former LSU guy, took the reigns.

UGA is a perennial disappointment. They have no business coming down to SoFla to a team with 5 titles and the most NFL players and taking a life long Cane fan from us. This **** would NEVER happen pre "the untouchable era" of the SEC. They are emboldened to cheat.

No one in their right mind buys that a middle of the road team that doesn't even recruit down here walks in and takes the top guy down here from us and does it all on the up and up.

All of us posting on a Miami board in April = die hard Canes fans. If we ever had the opportunity he does, we'd go to Miami. No matter what. Current coach, record, conference, e damned. Doesn't matter. We'd all be Canes.

He was a local kid that rooted for and followed his home team, and ultimately made what he feels is the best decision for his future. That's fine. But no die hard Miami fan is putting on any helmet without an orange and green U on it. That's just a fact. There's a certain fire and attitude we all have. We love this program and turning down the opportunity to wear the colors would never enter our minds.

these young recruits are 16,17,18 years old they don't know what it means to be a ''die hard fan'' of anything. I just turned 23 and I still workout and chill with some of these recruits and their minds change daily. We are not in their shoes as highly recruited athletes and being offered perks,benefits, girls everything. This stuff happens I know my cousin played at Syracuse was recruited by acc schools like UNC,Wake,NC State and Ole Miss when Eli was there. I was young back then but some of these stuff he would tell me was crazy. Samething my step brothers uncle played at Miami and coached here same thing and Miami was doing these ''favors'' as well. I'm not in there shoes I played D2 football until I quit after my freshman year and I wasn't good enough to play at BCS schools like Miami. Recruiting is crazy and these kids get suckered by these coaches and believe anything they say. Saying that if Miami offered me in hs I would of committed on the spot but I also knew I didn't have options like these kids like Sony,Bridgewater..

I hear you but truthfully Golden and staff SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON IT.That's part of their job. Let Sony and his family know straight up, if we find out about any Money exchanging hands for a commitment...... Everyone will find out.
