-Asked why he thinks Georgia could be Michel's destination, Goetz said, "You hear things in the circle."
and there you have it
That he's going to uga?
No, that he/his family got paid.

Blame who ever you want, if that makes you feel better go nuts.
I'm more astounded by the "coaching failure" crowd now that more details are coming out than before. IF this kid really hasn't been to UGA in months, hasn't been visited by UGA coaches in months and is always on Miami's campus, posing with Duke for pictures, talking about being close to family and a supposed Cane fan and he STILL picks UGA doesn't that mean that some weird **** outside of the control of our coaches? I just am not buying that the coaches dropped the ball here. How did they mess up? Someone offer a legit explaination of how the coaches failed and I'll start to listen more. If anything, staffing turnover was our biggest issue but our running backs coaches took jobs in the league! WTF are we supposed to do about that?
I hate recruiting lol

You're right. There is only so much a staff can do, considering it's a 17 year old's decision. It's silly to think they haven't done everything possible to convince him to commit.
So let me get this straight. This KID has had the pressure of the whole city of Miami expecting him to be the next stud running back at The []_[] since he was 13-14 years old and now that its come to fruition and he might have come to the realization that its more than he cares to put on his back at the ripe old age of 17 its impossible for some of us to imagine him wanting to leave town and go some place where expectations might be a little less overwhelming? I can't imagine pressure from our fan base making a kid want to get outta dodge. We're all so calm and level headed. But let's go ahead and blame the staff, the $EC money, or whatever else makes us feel better. **** it!
everyone is greiving and the kid hasnt even made a choice yet

This. At least wait til he chooses to start the "he got paid" ****.
I'm kinda glad I'm taking my mom to the airport during the announcement. If the site actually loads up when I get home I guess that means we got him.
Artie Burns, Derrick Griffin, & Gus Edwards decommited from other schools and committed to us. Same with Yearby. We also had five or six players commit to us then decommit. It ain't over till signing day. Sony does he seem like the type to stay firm, but things change. We will see how this situation plays out. Rumph said its not necessarily going to be his final decision, no need for a meltdown.
The problem with Sony is that this is not like Stcey Coley and Donell Bennett. Sonys Fam is handling his recruitment, and UUALLY that's the best thing to do. Because with ome of these high school coaches, they'll push a kid to whichever school they may receive favors/money from, alumni of, or are friends with the staff. One example being with Alex Collins and coach gatewood last year. Everyone saw how that went down. One that went in UMs favor was Stacey and coach B. It's good to get ADVICE from a coach and/or other parents who have dealt with the recruiting process. BUT usually family is the best option. Sonys uncle, parents , etc.... are the ones who should probably be listened to. Not sure how much Input Rumph is having on the decision.

Bro you're pulling **** out of your ***, he's going to pick UGA IMO but the information you're putting on this board is bull****.

Rumph is new at American Heritage, so him and Sony dont have a long standing relationship

"Sonys Fam is handling his commitment" if that was true, he would be picking UM today. I never said Rumph was going to flip him I just believe his opinion is right. People want to keep comparing Collins situation to Sony but they really aren't anything alike.
Please look at my post again. I said "recruitment". And I NEVER SAID HIS SIUTATION WAS THE SAME AS ALEX COLLINS. I SAID IT'S THE OPPOSITE. JUST LIKE I SAID SONYS SITUATION WITH HIS COACH IS NOT LIKE STACEY AND COACH BENNET. When you say "Fam" do you just mean parents or Other relatives as well. Like his "uncle", brother in law, etc..... Since you KNOW Who handled Markens recruitment?
