Something doesnt add up

Perhaps, but I don't recall our QB throwing directly at defensive players seemingly on purpose. Almost like Rosier went rogue.

Hahaha (I'm crying on the inside). I actually can see how one could think that. It just takes realizing that he actually HAS regressed to such a ridiculous point of sucking that it just looks like he's intentionally trying to be bad.

Looked like Perry was doing the same thing. He just didn't have as many snaps, so his opportunities were limited.

When Richt named Rosier the starter, I knew he had officially lost it. He makes decisions as if his brain is scrambled.

Coaching and execution. Also your qb being the worst qb ever doesn’t help either.

My prediction was 31-10 and I thought we'd get a defensive TD. This was a lock as far as Vegas goes

It looked to me as tho we got manhandeled at the LOS.

Exactly right. That's all it was. And once it was so decisive at the outset of the game it was guaranteed to show up again. That's what Orlovsky should have known, but did not. Tape guys like that are always so fixated on matchups and schemes they lose sight of the big picture.

I never had any hope even as Wisconsin stalled at 14 points. Everything tends to drift back to the beginning. They was no way we could do a shell game for the final three quarters and prevent Wisconsin from having another stretch in which they absolutely pushed us around.

You don't want to draw a relentless blue collar running team in a bowl game if your program is out of sorts. They won't care. They will punish you and have no mercy. The other example was Army against Houston last week. Houston likewise had a disappointing season and was missing key defensive linemen. Army shoved them around to the tune of 70 points.

If Wisconsin had its quarterback tonight I don't think we could have held them below 40 and probably 45+.

Another example in Canes history was the 1993 season Fiesta Bowl against Arizona. Miami was a small favorite but all the sharp guys I knew in Las Vegas had Arizona as their best bet of that bowl season. The Canes didn't have much to play for, after a late season loss at West Virginia. Obviously we had played for the title in most of the previous seasons including 1991 and 1992. Arizona had the Desert Swarm defense and a physical running game. They bullied and brutalized the Canes from start to finish, winning 29-0 while outrushing Miami 257 to 35.

Yea Mark Richt better get this oline fixed and QB spot settled. If he repeats this type of season he’ll be gone..just the same position I’ve taken on MR since GA TECH game tbh
No O-line will look good when the entire D knows what is coming. The O-line will only look good when there are plays to be made, and there just aren't any in this O.

I swear to GOD, the minute I heard that Malweak Rosier was going to start, I knew Miami had an L coming. Starting Malweak proves that corch Richt is an incompetent baffoon; he had no business on the field, period.
Starting Rosier gives Richt the best chance at winning big, in Vegas.

Honestly, though, Rosier, Perry, Williams, Montana, Elway, Marino, it wouldn't matter. This O is beyond pathetic. There is no fixing it. It must be destroyed before it reproduces. The O is the cancer that is killing the team, and Richt is making **** sure there is no treatment being administered. He is Dr. Death.

What you are calling "design" is simply bowl game preparation and coaching. Wisconsin had plenty of time to scheme for our offense and we had plenty of time to install a few more plays, wrinkles, trick plays, etc... They did their coaching homework and our staff did not. At least that's the way it appeared to me.

That whole, let's just use half of our allotted bowl practices probably didn't help matters.

Put away your tinfoil hat. The Law of Parsimony applies here. There was one team that wanted to be there, they were better prepared, better coached, more motivated, knew who they were, had a competent game plan and went out and performed. You could see the difference in the warmups.

Since I was in center field of the stadium right behind Rosier, I was confused as to what Rosier was seeing. He goes right where the OT and DE are going at it and that's where he jumps to pass the ball and gets intercepted. To me it looked like offense is all constricted in one small area and it's not spread around when routes are being runned.

Lol, Canes could not score on a bunch of corn fed pastey white boys. Let that sink in for a minute.

Wisky oline sure looked good when we knew what was coming..no scheme works without a good oline play. No matter the scheme. It can be wishbone, option, pro or spread. That is facts and always will be in the game of football
