Was that not the worse call ever made in Football and why weren't the coaches fighting for it to be changed. Not only was the play whistled dead as an incomplete pass but they gave them the ball too. Someone please explain how that was possible when the play was clearly stopped therefore of course our players stopped going after and showed no effort to go after the ball after the whistle was blown and refs clearly signaling incomplete pass. Call should have been made ball dead at the spot of the fumble with offense still in possession of ball.

The rule is that if it was clearly a fumble and the defense immediately obtained possession, then it is their ball at the point where they picked it up.

Whistle was blown after their guy had picked up the ball and started running.

Yea it was a fumble by rule...but Louisville also had like 24 men on the field. Which, most of the time, is a penalty.

that was one of the most idiotic play calls i have seen, only possibility of stuff going wrong on that play. we got lucky it wasn't a td. the playaction to clive works for a TD, and then we don't go to it 1 more time in the red zone. amazing. This team is in for at least 5 losses this year.

You guys need to watch the play again. The official in the backfield IMMEDIATELY signaled incomplete pass.....even before the Louisville guy picked up the ball. That was enough to call the play dead.

Pay more attention to Lou Hollffftz at halftime next time. He explained it and gives very cogent unbiased analysis too.

The officials got the call right. We're lucky the ref standing at the goal line blew it dead or it woulda been 7 for them.

The one time the bubble screen would have worked and we completely fu###### it up!!

No can do Tad. Don't know what's worse the fact that he looks like a Keebler elf or that he sounds like Sylvester while talking crap about the U

I understand the fumble from the backwards pass and yes where was the off sides call on that play as well or too many men on the field one because that was the main reason for rushing the snap and pass out there. But yes I understand the fumble call but automatically giving the ball to the defense is the part I don't understand when the play is blown dead I know naturally coaches still want you to go after the ball and yes I understand that they probably would have got the ball but nothing even matters after the play is blown dead as far as who they thought would have gotten the ball. Who knows who would have gotten it we pretty much stopped or even if we didn't stop playing for the ball the ball was dead.

I expect a lot out of Stacy, which is why I'm most upset with him on that play. Not absolving Brad for the bad throw, but at the end of the day, Stacy is ALL BY HIMSELF with the ball under his nose and somehow played pattycake long enough for the other team to pick it up.

I mean, even if you hate the play, execution, throw, etc., if Stacy just grabs the ball that's right in front of him with nobody around, then we're still sitting pretty with three downs left around the 10-yard line going in.

I love the kid, but that's no bueno. I was shocked.

Stacy Coley's fault. You do whatever it takes to secure that football.

At the start of the play, they had 1 guys on the field, just like us.
They actually had 12 guys, one was running off but I believe they changed that rule to where if they are near the sidelines then they are considered off the field of play. That was the reason this even happened, Kaaya said it himself in the press conference. They saw that they didnt have guys on the field and he rushed it. Still, the ball should have at least been caught but oh well.

Coley did have a crappy game last night. Too much dodge-ball I guess.

Was a designed run. Kaaya panicked and threw it behind the line of scrimmage and early to a surprised Stacy coley.

That ones on the QB.

Unless Kaaya audibled to that play J Coley should be fired for the play call. 1st and goal and you try ANOTHER WR quick screen to Coley! If Coley goes in motion the ball is going to him at or behind the line Every time. It is also blatantly obvious that Berrios is the 3rd down poss receiver. Kaaya just keyed on him. I guarantee that is by J Coley design. This is truly the most pathetic offense I have ever seen. We have waaaaay to many good athletes for this. Any coordinator worth a **** would have spread the ball around and gotten more players involved. I would transfer if I was a young WR on this team.
